Some VC thoughts:

-- The candidates are Tatum, Smart, White and Team.
-- Horford had a sneaky good game at the offensive end, with the rebounds and assists, but he doesn't rise to the level of the top candidates overall.
-- The 20-5 opening run is what won the game. The stars of that run were Tatum, Smart and maybe Horford.
-- "Team" makes a lot of sense, between the balanced scoring and the defense.
-- Tatum's "gravity" is partly reflected in his assist numbers.

Also loved Pierce being a superfan!

Four 20-pt scorers. Team is more than just the Jays when they commit to moving the ball and executing on offense. Defense was where it should be most of the night. We were swarming anyone who touches the ball inside, no easy pass outs.

I thought the whole team played extremely well. Obviously I'm thrilled they won but at the same time I'm incredibly frustrated at how they played games 1 through 3.

Boston is clearly the more talented team it's just a shame they're only figuring it out being down 0-3. I'm not going to get my hopes up but if they win the next game it could be interesting game 7.

Personally, I will not entertain any degree of celebration until G6 is over. Once again, this team should not be in this position in the first place but love that they didn’t fold over in G4 and kept the pressure for 5

As for VC’s, D White was incredible. If you want a
spo zone breaker then you’re looking at him.

Also Horford for being the best of the 50 year olds out there was incredible too.
