Probably just telling JT about his connection to Florida Mafia and how even high profile people disappeared without a trace during his heyday.

If they went out like chumps and got swept I don't think I could have looked at any of them the same way again. This team has alot of warts.......I can't say they have no quit because I think they did quit in game 3... But this team believes in themselves again. They know they can win...It's no longer a fantasy. They just came back from a 2-3 last series.

If I was a heat player or fan I would be sweating, rather they admit it or not, they are.

Its nice to get a couple of wins, but its hard to beat 75+ years of history (though I would love to see it). This is what annoys me every time about Miami. They go super saiyan, jimmy in particular, win multiple games playing at 120% and then burn out meaning they are a waste of space to truly compete. They get the most out of their roster's talent of any team in the league, but that doesnt mean they arent trash deep down.

Problem is, they went 120% on us, we played scared and put a 0-3 hole in our way. Digging out of that is a monumental task

Shouldn’t think of it that way. Win one game. The past is the past. Just put out your best effort every time you step on the floor. Forget about history. Forget about games 1-5. Don’t even think about game 7 for a second. All energy and focus on winning game 6.

Good win. White gets the VC. Smart played great, aside from a couple of bad passes. JT played great in the 1st qrt, got back to chucking 3’s, fancy dribbling and holding the ball too long. Joe coached a good game, props to him. They need to take a good look in their half court offense. Its frustrating that no one is cutting to the basket, when its actually wide open lane on the sides. Smart used to attack inside and give lobs to Rob for easy dunks. Now, guys are just standing in the corner waiting for a pass. Good that we hit most shots, but we can’t sustain that shooting. Might be good if we constantly attack inside. Gives us a good chance to get those offensive boards. Well a win is a win. Luv and die by the 3. Hope they fall again in miami.

This win means nothing if they crap the bed in Game 6.

Joe should be all over them for being stagnant/no ball movement in the second half.
Gotta bring the first quarter intensity to the whole game in Miami.

On balance, good team effort all around. Gentleman's sweep averted. Now it's time to prove that this isn't a fake comeback from an 0-3 hole.

Tie this up at Miami, and these 8th-seed overachievers will wilt when the fans bring the real heat to The Garden for the series finale.

LFG, Celtics!!! :onfire:

Game 6 will be very difficult for this team. Miami will come out desperate. Boston has to survive the first half. Keep the game close. Proud of the fight.

Part of me doesn't like seeing them like this. Granted, they deserve to celebrate after the win, but I want to see them keep their focus because they are still down 3-2.

Wouldn't surprise me. Brad doesn't have anything more important to do than give Joe whatever help he needs.

Smart set the tone of this game from opening defensive possession. Playoff career high 5 steals.

Exactly. He had been huge for us all season until this series after the injury. Hoping for a miracle he is healthy and ready to play and play well for game 6.

Yeah, but the bench scorers had better be ready to play.
