Don't let playoff Jimmy show up. If he does its a wrap. Defend him like you did last night and you'll win.

Celtics were 14-2 in regular season and 6-0 in the playoffs (2-0 in ECF) when limiting opponents to less than 100 points. So I guess defense is important to us winning?
Also now 38-2 (2-0 in ECF) when shooting 40%+ from 3.
3&D Cs seem to be a winning formula.

Heat fans think this is only happening because Gabe Vincent got hurt. And that this is like us benefiting from Middleton being hurt last year. L-O-L

I mean, the league DOES want this going to game 7, right? The Finals game 1 date is already set, get you some more $$ Adam Silver

I am looking at the big picture. No way in hell he wants Nuggets and Miami in the finals.

Obviously, the key is to put bigger guys on Jimmy. He was scoring at will vs white and brogdon, even Smart a little bit. I think there was even 1 or 2 possessions where Pritchard got switched on him earlier in the series.
These last 2 games, it's been a lot of Tatum and Grant on him, some Al, some Rob, and a little bit of JB. And Butler has struggled.
We've also done a good job of knowing when to bring a second defender over to double him. Not letting him have too much space to operate, trying to force him towards the baseline where he might step out of bounds or get caught in no man's land and have to throw desperation passes cross court.
Just gotta keep up that gameplan.

This is our game 7. Hopefully we get the good Joe for the third game in a row as that has made a world of difference. And we are going to need JT to go Super Saiyan because you know Butler is going to go off to try to close it as home.

Available matchup stats aren’t perfect so take this with a grain of salt but so far, our most effective defenders on Butler have been Horford, Timelord, and Brogdon (at least 10 FGAs defended). Grant and White both been cooked though White did well against him last night.
Our help defense on Bam has been on point. Led to several turnovers and runouts.

The funny thing being the guy who replaced Gabe Vincent was their best player on the floor last night.

Spo finally gonna bench Love in favor of Dwaynewood Wadesmith. Expecting Vincent to start too. Lowry, Love, Martin, and Zeller as their bench. Joe better start Blake Griffin over HorfLord just to confuse them.

Yeah I haven't seen the matchup stats, but eye test tells me that most of the time when he has gotten the ball vs tatum in the last 2 games, he hasn't even tried to shoot it.

If the Heat want to win this game they will need big games from Butler and Bam. Those bum ass bench players will get tight this game

While that seems logical and reasonable, Marc Davis apparently didn't get the memo last night because he did everything in his power to help the Heat. Some of those calls in the beginning were truly mind boggling. He's an ass, plain and simple. Thankfully, when you play well you can overcome any BS the refs try to invoke!

One game at a time. Play w the intensity, energy, DEFENSE, ball movement & shooting we did in the last 2 games for 48 on Sat, & we get to eat their lunch in Boston on Mon. And make NBA HISTORY for the first time in about 150 **** games!
