The only things I ask are no run out the couch late game offense, no Horford to close the game and no last shot Smart ball with our season on the line.

Miami sold out so that Smart had to take the shot, thus Smart did the right thing in shooting (and almost making) it. He's really evolved and has found his place as a point guard, making the right play far more often than not.

I feel like we should win this game by double digits. They need to come out strong and leave no doubt.

The celtics were likely gonna have to win at least one close game. They did it...... So now they can go back to winning by double digits without giving me mini heart attacks. Thanks in advance.

Skip bayless tweet right now “ Clearly the NBA wants Boston in the Finals and the refs know it and are trying to see to it.” Lol dementia setting in. Like the phantom foul on Horford with Jimmy leaning in at the end that he would thrown 20 feet over the basket and giving Heat a free 3 points and almost the game? Or Jimmy just falling down the last 5 minutes and shooting free throws?

Anybody saying anything like that when Butler is on the opposing team is clearly trolling. I've said for a while now there needs to be an investigation into the crazy whistle Butler always gets.

I guess that’s why we’ve lost three games, two of them close in this series.

Over the last 7 seasons (so starting Browns rookie year), the C's have played the most playoff games in the NBA with 111.

Celtics: 111
Warriors: 104
Bucks: 78
Heat: 65

Can extend that lead with a game 7 win.

Unsurprisingly, Tatum and Brown are 1 and 2 in total playoff minutes over the last six seasons with 3600 and 3200 minutes played respectively. They are #1 and #7 in points scored in that same span.

Celtics have 4 of the top 20 total playoff minutes among active players. Horford, Tatum, Smart, Brown. The latter three are the only guys in that top 20 under the age of 32 (well, Kawhi is about to turn 32, the next youngest).

Normally I’d be anxious and nervous about a G7 but this feels like it’s going to be a blowout. Like Mother’s Day against Philly.

Understanding that last night should have been the end of the season with the way the last few seconds unfolded, I feel like Miami must have genuinely tasted victory after three annoying rounds and had it ripped out of them.

There was a major mental battle won to not just even up the 3 games but how they happened as well and the final 3 seconds as the icing.

Also you’re not going to see a 0–12 3PT night from the jay’s again. Miami failed to capitalize on that gift.

Just come out strong. Getting the crowd into it really early is key.

Wasn't there a partial tear? We really need Brogdon and his shooting..if he doesn't play someone like PP or Hauser needs at least some decent first half minutes..

I also hope/expect Grant to play/shoot better..

No one on the Heat G6 starting five has played more than 3 game 7s. All of them have a losing record incl. Butler (1-2).

For the love of God, experience shouldn't be an excuse any longer. We have to be able to execute in close games!

For all the talk about this team being bad at crunch time, the core of Tatum-Brown-Horford-Smart has to have one of the highest percentages in elimination games in history. How many G7 and G6 (while down) have they engineered?
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

I was hoping they took Hauaer's temperature when he was out there.
Thanks Brad for answering my ad,

But after KP, your C play? You broke my heart Fredo.

It's the ECF, we don't need more than a 7 man rotation.

No need to extend it to the regular season fill in levels of Hauser or Pritchards.

Smart/White/Brown/Tatum/Horford start.

Grant and Rob off the bench.

Tatum plays 40 mpg and plays the PG when Smart sits (and well frankly when Smart doesn't sit as well). And when we go bench we just continue going 'double big' if you could call that with Rob and Grant. Or back to the traditional Rob and Horford.

But honestly with how poorly Horford has been playing and only occasionally making decent plays once every 10 or so on court minutes AND with it being game 7 and Rob making it here alive I'd rather see Rob out there for 40 minutes as well. Same for the entire Finals if we make it, this isn't the time to load manage and most of our guys are 25/26 years old that I'm talking about here.

You finally got Rob here healthy, don't leave bullets in the chamber. His impact on offense and defense is obvious on the court and the Heat struggle with it.
