Who would you Keep, to play off the Bench?

Assume that the Celtics go with a 14-Man Roster.
Include Pritchard in our Top 7 Players.

Meaning, you can only Choose 7 other NBA Players, out of the 10 Choices.
(Not counting the Two-Way Spots.)

Keep everyone bar Gabriel, elevate no one which leaves 1 roster spot to do something with the Grant TPE before the deadline.

I'd likely do the following.

1) Waive Kornet. = He's too highly expendable, as a 3rd Center.
2) Trade Brissett. = I haven't seen enough "Dog" from him.
3) Use the Grant TPE to bring some in.
4) Keep Everyone else.
5) Might have to combine choices 1 & 2 = To get #3?

They'll just keep the 15.

Edit: worth noting there was a month+ of notice that they weren't keeping Vonleh/Jackson/Champagnie, the last guys they've cut or dumped.

I don't believe he's eligible to be traded until sometime in December..

Keep everyone, play Hauser and Brissett as #8/9 in the rotation. Brissett has leg up on the rest because positional weakness we have at the 4, assuming Horford/Porzingis combine for all the time at the 5 with little left over for PF. Svi/Stevens/Walsh/Banton on deck to fill in as needed.

Kornet and Gabriel go in their own category where if Horford/Porzingis are playing then they ride the bench, but if one/both are out then they get time. Quetta in this group as well. No need to play any of these guys at all though if Porzingis/Horford are out there.

I assume the FO doesn't over-react to two pretty good pre-season games and keeps the team they've put together.
I mean right NOW -- this minute -- I like Queta more than Gabriel, but we've got them each in a good spot, contractually, so no need to over-react to like 15 total minutes of pre-season game time and ditch one of them.

Svi seems like a legit NBA player who could help quite a bit.

I like Queta a lot too. And I like Banton's versatility.

Brissette and Stevens are both cool but I kinda wish they were just merged into one person. They seem a little redundant but I don't know how you pick one over the other.

Hauser and Kornet aren't going anywhere imo. And Walsh is a keeper.

I chose to cut Brisset and Gabriel.

I'd keep Luke but would prefer to sign a big like Biyombo.

Not a fan of kornet especially if we are going to continue to start horford, which I already disagree with. So I voted for other not signed big instead of kornet.

There is no one I would waive now but I'm on board with your general direction. The question is can we improve on Kornet with the TPE? This may be something to deal with as the season progresses. As to Brissett, not enough sample size. I would have wanted to let go of Banton before yesterday. So I don't expect any early moves

This. But it will not happen. However, it and a first for Precious Achiuwa or Kia Jones wants out of Charlotte so the TPE and a second for him.

Keep everyone. No reason to do anything until the trade deadline.

I'd keep everyone. Play Walsh in Maine.

14th I believe. Really no need to do anything till then. I only see a need to upgrade the center position and by then there are guys like Plumlee or Drummond you could fit in the Grant TPE.

Unless Tatum is on the floor or main guys are injured, Cs aren't going to have more than 3 bench players on the floor at the same time. Everyone on our roster is plug-and-playable imo depending on who among our top 6 are on the floor. That's the beauty of having a great top 6.

Kornet can play with either Horford or Porzingis. Stevens/Brissett/Walsh can be plugged in for defensive/hustle purposes if we have enough offense on the floor. Svi or Hauser for shooting. Svi if we need more ballhandling/secondary playmaking. Pritchard can play with pretty much anyone since he's the only small dude on the roster.

Keep everyone. Play the bench guys (mix-and-match with starters). Don't overwork our top 6 for first half of season. See if any of 7-15 emerge as potential playoff performers. Make midseason moves as needed. No need to open a roster spot at the moment. Team can just waive one of the non-guaranteed guys later on if someone they really, really like becomes available in FA/buyout market.
