Knicks are fully healthy but we’re catching them on the 2nd night of their B2B. Playing a matinee vs. Hornets today. Entering tonight’s game with the second best defense in the league behind the Wolves and ahead of the Cs.

GLeague Knicks are facing the GLeague Celtics today. Don’t expect Walsh and our two-ways to be joining the big club.

Yeah they’re on the second night of back to back, we’re playing 3rd game in 4 nights so it’s relatively equal but we did have 2 blow outs with low minutes

Jrue is due his first VC. I say he gets it.

Another good defensive team, a bit behind the Wolves right now but interested to see how we come out. First game of the season was a slug fest, hoping we can leverage more of that Tatum/KP game with Jaylen playing off of them like we did in the second half last night.

good post and would like to add sometimes teams with good size and length near the rim.

I would like to say I am happy with the blowouts and not playing down to the competition this year though up to this point. Was a real struggle at times last year.

Dunno how the Knicks have the top 2 defense in the league. They're middle of the pack in opponent eFG% and they don't force a ton of turnovers. Not that great at limiting rim attempts or rim FG% either. Great rebounding team though so Cs have to box out and work hard on the glass on both ends. Or just don't miss any of their shots.

Both teams haven't allowed many second chance points, points off turnovers, or points in the paint.

Milestone Watch:
• Brown - 3 threes to pass Smart for 4th most makes as a Celtic
✓ White - 1 three to reach 200 as a Celtic
✓ Hauser - 3 threes to pass Delonte West
✓ Tatum - 1 steal to reach 500 for career
• Horford - 3 steals to reach 800 for career
• Horford - 8 blocks to reach 1,200 for career

Tatum now the 2nd Celtic in franchise history (Pierce) to hit 1,000 threes, 300 blocks, and 500 steals.

Congrats to Jrue Holiday on reaching 15,000 points.

Tatum 2 for his last 22 on pull-up threes lol, and he’s managed to have a 59% TS in that time. I don’t think 40% is realistic on pull-ups, but if he’s 34-36%, that’s more than good enough, and means he’s probably 38-40% overall.

2-22 obviously flukey, so bet we see him go like 3-5 on them tonight.

The key to this game will be rebounding the basketball. Defensive rebounding, keep the Knicks from getting offensive rebounds

Knicks started the season 2-4 but have won 3 straight. Randle is picking it up lately and Barrett has been shooting the ball really well.

But we're better so let's win.

Ball movement has been good since the minny game. Hoping that keeps up. Randle has been playing better so have to see if jrue can replicate his earlier success against him.

Have to believe our bench will have a better showing this time around though ofc Knicks bench still better. Keep quickley under control and win the game.
