What what right in the Knicks' butt, you guys!
JAYSON TATUM with the incredible 4th quarter takeover! He's so damn good!
Jaylen! Kristaps! Sam! And congrats to Jrue on 15,000 career points!
It was a competitive game but the Celts hung tough and put together a strong 4th quarter to close the door on New York.
(Credit to Zoya for inspiration on the thread title haha)
Sixers rematch Wednesday, Go C's!

Slow start perhaps but an unbelievable finish... This team has such a high ceiling..
Tatum smokes it for his superstar performance.. And k p for being the big difference maker..
But want to give A shout out to Hauser who has continually been scorching the net when needed most.

Everybody was awesome, except Al, who is an Angel so it’s okay.
White is also an Angel, so I can’t say anything negative.

JT dropped the hammer on ‘em.
FWIW, I watched the game on MSG and Breen was extremely complimentary of the Celts. (As was Wally Szczerbiak.) Not a homer call at all.

This team is so fun to watch man. I was annoyed by like 1 game all year so far.

I said in the game thread that I thought that the refs went out of their way to NOT CALL FOULS on the Knicks. There were several Knick charges that were not called; also Hart shoved Tatum from behind on a drive and Robinson hip checked Tatum on a drive.
Tatum and Porzingis are Efficient scorers. Brown is not in their class but he is out of his early season funk. Holiday is a God-send. Hauser has been consistently good, making me feel he can repeat it in the playoffs. Still think that they need a Banger type C or PF to supplement their rebounding needs, especially if one of Tatum, Porzingis or Horford is not available.
Wish Tatum played 36 minutes instead of 38 minutes.
An alternative perspective:
Pts. + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed FGs - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)
+29.5 Jayson Tatum (38 minutes)
+21.5 Kristaps Porzingis (33 minutes)
+16 Jaylen Brown (36 minutes)
+15 Sam Hauser (21 minutes)
+15 Jrue Holiday (36 minutes)
+7 Payton Pritchard (19 minutes)
+3 Al Horford (22 minutes) Only took 2 shots, but he's still a good defender and pick setter
+0.5 Derrick White (31 minutes)

What a fantastic start of the season. Winning 80% and losing two very close ones on the road to teams with combined 3 losses.

I would like to see Philly have to play some good teams on the road. So far that has not happened.

We saw the best version of JB today as the Hype Machine pointed out. We should be satisfied with this.
18 shots for JB. 11 shots for KP. These numbers need to be reversed. KP is our #2 offensive weapon.

Same here. But honourable mention to Brown, who kept the dumb to a minimum and moved the ball almost like a team-oriented player. Hopefully this is the beginning of a trend and not just his answer to the compliments he received from KP.
