So some IST games to watch for Tuesday:

The C's can still make the tournament, but they need some things to go right. If they beat the Bulls and finish tied with the Magic at 3-1 they would lose the head to head tie breaker. But if the Nets beat the Raptors it would be a three way tie and point differential would break the tie. Currently the c's have a +0, the Magic a +22 and the Nets a +8. So to win the group the C's need the Nets to win (but ideally by a small amount), and they need to beat the Bulls by at least 23+ to have a shot.

If they don't win the group they can get in as the wildcard. The wildcard goes to the best IST record among teams that finished second in their group. So to win the wildcard the c's would need to finish with the best point differential among the 3-1 teams. Some games to watch are:

Cle (+6) vs ATL.
Mil (+39) vs Mia (+11)
NYK (+18) vs Cha
Brk (+8) vs Tor

The best outcome for the c's would be all of Cle, Mia, NYK and Brk to lose dropping all to 2-2 and which would mean the c's merely need to win and they are in. If any of those teams win the c's would need to overcome their point differential meaning they have to SMOKE chicago. Ideally by 23 or more.

So on Tuesday root for Atl and Cha for sure over Cle and NYK.

Root for Mil too, they have a +39 differential so if they LOSE to MIA and MIA wins that group due to head to head tie breaker it will be hard to overcome the Mil point differential.

Brk is more complicated, them winning is fine but ideally not by a lot. Its god for chances of winning group, bad for chances of winning wildcard.

this in-season format is ridiculous. Epic fail if you ask me. Should be top 2 from every group then a few wildcards similar to the World Cup..... That being said, it would be nice to be the first to win it. You know the Lakeshow are going all in lol!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it impossible for us to win the group? We can't beat Orlando in tiebreaker because Orlando beat us head-to-head.

If Brooklyn wins, its a 3-way tie with each team having one win in their head to heads so the tiebreaker becomes point differential

Bulls are a DISASTER.

If we don’t win this game by 15+, trade all of them.

I hope that Queta continues to play.
He just needs the experience of playing at the NBA level. No other way to gain that.

I'll take as him being held out due to a pending trade.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but this was Horford's 1,200th career block.


He's two steals away from becoming only the 10th player in NBA history with 3,000+ assists, 800+ steals, and 1,200+ blocks. Add 500+ three-pointers made and it's just him, Dirk, and Cliff Robinson.

Don’t care about the IST and the players shouldn’t either.

Just play better.
