People talk about how it's hard to win both games of a home-and-home. Well, it's harder to win the set when you're the road team. I think Pacers will come readier. And they'll get Bruce Brown back. If we get KP back though, dunno how we lose this unless Indy get super lucky with their three-ball. White will play better. And Cs can continue to force switches and cause mismatches everywhere.
Keep being locked in. Minimize the turnovers and continue dominating the boards.

In the Celtics loss to the Pacers in the IST, they scored just 108.7 points per 100 possessions, 6th worst offensive performance of the season. Since then, they're scoring 125.9 points per 100 possessions and outscoring opponents by 13.8 pts per 100 poss. Cs are 13-2 in that span w/ #1 offense. Pacers are 8-7 w/ #5 offense.

I'm not so sure about that Injury. I can't see (no pun intended) how he can play at the NBA-level with that eye injury?
Nesmith needs to be Controlled.

Make sure White and the rest of the team sees what Nesmith posted. We need to get this win.

Nesmith is so corny. Not to mention immature/petty. Get over yourself, man. Getting TRo 2019 vibes from him tbh.

Kristaps Porzingis gives update on eye injury after Celtics beat PacersBy Brian Robb |

https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2024/01/kristaps-porzingis-gives-update-on-eye-injury-after-celtics-beat-pacers.htmlThe Celtics overcame the loss of Kristaps Porzingis on Saturday night in a 118-101 win over the Pacers. The big man suffered an eye injury in the first quarter of the win after he was poked in the face by Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith with 7:06 remaining in the quarter.
After getting some attention from Boston’s training staff including some eye drops, Porzingis returned to the game one minute later but only stayed on the floor for two more minutes before being taken out of the game. Boston declared him as questionable to return a short time later with right eye irritation and he did not play for the final 40 minutes of Boston’s win despite coming out and warming up before the start of the second half....
Porzingis has played in 26 of a possible 35 games for Boston this season, missing a few games due to ankle and calf issues, along with load management. Boston is 7-2 in those contests. If Porzingis is forced to sit out on Monday due to his eye injury, look for more minutes for both Luke Kornet and Oshae Brissett in his absence.

Yeah. After he knocked Porzingis out of the Game.
He wouldn't have been able to do that, with Zinger in there. IJS

In the old days, when basketball players actually played the game and not spent time making Tinder, smoke and party dates with
each other during the game, Nesmith or some other Indy player would pay the price for this overly aggressive act and limit their hysterics in the future. Guy has always played out of control and worry that he could hurt someone... and it finally occurred.
What a shame Brad Marchand is not on the Bruins and Nesmith isn't missing a few teeth.

He for sure posted it. It’s a great play but terrible look to post that after a loss.

Nesmith deserved a little something extra after that eye gouge. He has a reckless style of play if you watch him play. If I was Zinger I would have wanted my teammates to give him a few extra hard fouls just to send him a message, Maybe on Monday.

Nesmith’s role for us was to do exactly what Hauser is doing right now but only managed to shoot around 32% from 3.
He’s got nobody but himself to blame for getting traded which is why it’s laughable when he does petty **** like this.

Nesmith was flailing, pushing, undercutting all game.
Another incident that stood out to me was him throwing elbows when rebound contested with Brissette.

Not really true. The Parish punch notwithstanding, Laimbeer paid much less for his antics than they were worth. McHale didn't pay much for clotheslining Rambis -- although he did get a game-deciding shove in the back in the next Finals that allowed the Lakers to get the ball back and thus allowed the "junior, junior skyhook". Etc.

Recall that in the biggest game of his college career, Joe played center in a 1-3-1 zone.
