Hey that was awesome you guys we won the big game and got the Texas sweep!
JAYFEST! Jays T and B were both terrific and crushed their matchup with Doncic and Irving. Jrue and Al were big tonight too! Great win!
Heat Thursday, Go C's!

Porzingis was out due to right knee inflamation and Brisset was out for low back strain.
Without Zinger this game could have been tough, especially judging from the first 8 minutes, but Tatum, Brown and Holiday brought their "A" games to provide a rock solid foundation. As physical as the game was, the refs gave the Celtics 30 Free Throw Attempts versus Dallas' 14 , which is always a plus since Luka Doncic is one of the most ref favored players in the NBA, at least in previous seasons. Thank you refs.
DId not expect it to be this easy with White obviously off and the 3 bench players playing the right way but only Pritchard having an impact. Pritch had 7 Rebounds and 6 assists, a block and steal but I thought a few of his 2-7 shots were from too deep.
An alternative view:
Pts + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed Field Goals - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)
+42 Jayson Tatum 40 minutes
+28.5 Jaylon Brown 36 minutes
+18.5 Jrue Holiday 38 minutes
14.5 Al Horford 31 minutes
+10 Payton Pritchard 25 minutes
+4.5 Sam Hauser 15 minutes
+3 Luke Kornet 19 minutes
0 Derrick White 34 minutes
Team Total = 120

Brown with the VC. He played under control, no TOs, and made Doncic look pretty bad (on top of breaking his knees). Luka seemed frustrated all night.
CP to Tatum. Rare off game for White, showing he's just human.
And, as usual, lovely to see Irving losing once again to the C's. Piece of ****.

I think I’m gonna go with Jay…..
I told Siri to flip a coin with head being Tatum and tails being Brown and it ended up with head so Tatum gets it. One of the best games by the Jays this season.

That was a really good B2B win. Jays stepped up big time tonight.

We're still undefeated (6-0) against the SouthWest teams. Got a date with the Pelicans next week.

Grant Williams revenge game didn't go as planned for him.
If Tatum gets even an average whistle and shoots 70% he scores 50 tonight. The refs were awful.

Tatum and Brown 73 points, 24 for 43 for 56% shooting, 14 rebounds, 9 assists and 0 turnovers. That’s right, 0 turnovers!!!!!!!!!
Celtics stars came through tonight.
Excellent team win, now celebrate and rest.
Edit: I thought Jaylen Brown’s biggest contribution was making Luka work for everything all night

The Jays obviously, but how about White with the Marcus Smart Memorial Game going 2 for 12?

Jaylen for the big 4 point play. I still despise their offense late in games. I think they would take those same dumb shots in a close game. Those are habits.

So Luka was 1-6 with 2 turnovers in the minutes Jaylen sat.

Tatum became the second Celtic since 1984 to put up 38/11/5/3/2 in a game. Bird did it twice.

I still can’t believe he ignored the team and wanted to guard Giannis in the playoffs

The jays with the easiest v c of the year.. Luka is an elite offensive talent but is pathetic in every other category.. I have never seen a lazier star than him and his defense is a joke.. I'm so happy brown Is clowned him over and over again..

Emerging from my RSV cocoon. Jaylen was awesome, but this is pretty easily Tatum, who remembered how to hit shots at the rim again.
39/11/5/3/2 on 21 shots with 0 turnovers, and +27 in a 9 point win. They got outscored by 18 in the 7 minutes he sat.
Jaylen 34/3/4/2 blocks on 22 shots, also no turnovers. He was -6, but that got dragged down by White who had a much deserved off game. His defense on Luka was awesome, as was everyone on the C’s.
Holiday had a hilarious game, 12 of his 13 shots were threes, 17/6/7 with 1 TO. The team never turns the ball over anymore lol.
