Phew you guys we survived the mighty Wizards and got the win yippee!

Jayson and Kristaps were huge tonight, Jaylen and Jrue and Derrick all did their thing, and Payton was great off the bench!

Celts didn't play any defense in the 1st half and found themselves down at intermission. But they came out of halftime more energized and locked in, and they pulled ahead behind scoring outbursts from JT and KP and some much better team defense in the 2nd half. It was a game we won!

Heat Sunday, Go C's!

Wizards outplayed and outhustled us majority of the game. We showed up for one quarter and change. Good enough to win tonight. Definitely not good enough against the better teams. Demand more out of this group, esp the starters.

Anyway, my votes to JT and KP.

Winning>losing, but this team has been not fun to watch for the last few weeks.

I can't say enough how much of a godsend KP is, if they go away from using him in pick and rolls or post-ups late in games, they will lose in the playoffs

Godzingis was ok but White smokes it with his Grant Williams Memorial triple-single masterclass. Point God JB gets a couple of puffs as well.

We played well in the third quarter and won and props to Joe for getting their **** together at the half but this game should have been a reserves game in the 4th quarter.

I’m disappointed that this group still can’t let go of bad habits that have haunted them for years now. That first half defensive effort was beyond pathetic because they once again decided how much they care about the game based on their opponent. 3 quarters of 35+ points by the Wiz

I know this game will annoy people, but there’s a reason this is the time of year when good teams most often lose to bad teams.

It’s hard to run up and down the court all game with a crap team.

Admittedly I fell asleep on the sofa half way through the 3rd, just one of those games. Looks like the team also did when I woke up with 3 left in the 4th.

It's fine, it's mid February against an inferior opponent with little to get up for, the teams intensity can waiver - just like mine !

Did we blow them out ? No, but remember the team still lead the league by some margin in points differential. That's the more important trend.

VC for Kristaps, having him to switch onto Poole, Kuzma anyone on that undersized team was huge, got them in a heap of foul trouble and was the biggest winning factor for me. Added KP is always up for a revenge game!

We gave up a 45 point quarter to these bums.

Tatum’s last 6 games, he’s averaging 28/9/7 on a 63% TS.

We’re watching another sizable playmaking leap from him, tonight was the fifth time in the last 6 games that he’s had 7+ assists.

A win's a win. Hopefully we get to see this team start defending again soon.

It is a crime that wizards are that bad. They have 5-6 good players. GM never got them any size and had a crappy coach.

Holiday had a couple ugly turnovers, but 20/7/5 on 13 shots is pretty sweet.
