Beef Stew and Ausar Thompson are already OUT for the season. Fontecchio didn't play in their last game. We need to dispatch this team early whoever's playing for both sides. So far, we've been impervious to trap games, outside of those losses against the Hornets, Mitchell-less Cavs, and AD/Bron-less Lakers. NBA-best 26-1 vs. teams below .500.
I expect Porzingis and Holiday to rest for this one and play the next night in Chicago (Horford rests). Hoping Hauser's good to go but we can also afford to rest him one more day here.

My guess JB, Horford, and Hauser play. JT and KP sit, play the next day. Since JT is a psycho, he will insist on playing.

The 7 PM start time is rough. But I always watch because I have too many binkies.. Pretty amazed that hauser is already available..
And is it really too much to ask to get Jordan Walsh some freaking real minutes.. Not two minutes to go in a blow out..

I’d assume Tatum sits tonight and plays in Chicago, since a bunch of people drive up from St Louis.

Garbage time removed, I find it hilarious that the Celtics are +18.7 (99th percentile) with both JT and JB off the floor. Super small sample (381 possessions) and this matters less in the postseason when Tatum will play 40+ minutes but still hilarious. SBOBO Brad Stevens built a really good (and deep) supporting cast in just two years.
He's solved the "what would we do without JT on the floor" conundrum, at least for the regular season.
A +10.3 net rating would still lead the league by a good amount. (Celtics are +12.3 with JT on the floor.) This is also why Tatum's MVP bid is not as strong 'cos the narrative that JT "has a super team to back him up" is kinda supported by the regular season data.

I didn't realize we're on another back to back until right now (Pistons tonight then Bulls tomorrow night). We've had easy opponents this week but 5 games in 7 days is tough.

Celtics on a 5G-in-7N stretch but it's only Pritchard, Tillman, Svi, and Kornet who have played all three games so far. Team purposefully staggering our main guys to give them the rest they need. Pritchard's the only Celtic to play all the games this season. Coming off a season where he expressed his desire to be traded more than once lol.
