Woot woot you guys we defeated a bird-related team and won the big game hooray!

I'm not feeling well and have a case of RGM fatigue at the moment lol, so I decided to take my own advice and enjoy the game rather than spending it looking for tweets and writing and re-writing this thread. Sorry this isn't my best effort but we played well on both ends and won and our nightmare is over so have a good weekend and Happy Easter everyone.

Nice bounce-back game for the Celts. The Pels smelled blood and came out with a lot of energy, but the moment the C's decided to play it was over.

Also, it was weird to see Zion against the Celtics -- such a rare thing. That guy plays so few and far between that he's just a rung above Greg Oden. But what a major talent.

Cs still won by more than 10 points.

The margin is 12 and the Cs win by an average of 11.4 ppg.

That's slightly more than their point differential.

It's naive to think NBA teams don't come back when trailing by a big margin.

The Cs did enough in the last 5 minutes to avoid blowing a big lead.

Voted for KP and Jrue mainly for the defense. Way to man up against a lengthy team. Pels got nothing easy in the paint and we took care of the boards. Shoutout to a very solid 30 minutes from Horford.

This is the playoff rotation and playoff defense I wanna see.

Our two biggest issues addressed in this game. Porzingis didn’t play like an absolute fanny and White was given the role of primary initiator down the stretch. Now do that every game and we win a championship.

It was the last possession of the 3rd I believe. We gave the ball to Tatum. He wasted the clock all the way down to 3 seconds, then took a 30 foot, contested 3. This is our “last possession” strategy, for the last 2 years. I’ve been watching this game since late 80’s. This is the worst closing strategy ever! Someone should do something.

Not for nothing but a Mazzulla-coached team set a regular season high for wins in Brad Stevens era for the 2nd year in a row. Up to you guys if he gets credit or not lol.

Part of it was not getting any calls. Not too many fouls called either end tbh.

Tatum with 0 FTs is a rarity anyway. Just the 3rd instance this season, first in 2024.

No way a team wins 57 or 58 games if the coach is as bad as some say here.
