OKC trying to get a top 2 seed while we are just coasting to the finish line. Will be a tough game.

Do the Cs step up and treat it like a big game that matters? It’s hard to fake it but I hope they can.

I feel they should. They can "coast" against the other "non-contenders" for the remaining schedule.

If we win this we clinch Home court in finals if my math is right.

lots of people sleeping on OKC generally, and they've smacked us around specifically lately!

So many things will be accomplished with a win here:
• Ensure that the Cs would be the only 60-win team in the NBA this season.
• Clinch home court advantage throughout playoffs.
• AND SO MUCH MORE!!!

OKC will be playing the 2nd game of a back to back when they face the Cs.

It's a close thing, but it's probably more advantageous for the Celtics to improve OKC's chances of HCA against the Nuggets than win the game - assuming that the Nuggets are a tougher finals opponent than OKC. Which shouldn't really be in doubt, good as OKC are.

Moses Brown isn't walking through that door so the Celtics have a chance.

Way too many variables and stuff Cs can’t control when it comes to West seeding. Would rather take the team coming up with a playoff-worthy performance and win.

Correct. Our worst possible record would be 60-22, and nobody else would have a chance of beating 59-23.

If we lose, our magic number vs. the Thunder will remain at 2. (Or 1 if they lose tonight, which is still possible as I post this.)

OKC lost. Magic Number is now 1.
Wolves won. Magic Number remains 1.
Nuggets won. Magic Number remains 1.

Finish this HCA saga tomorrow for all of them!

The Celtics lead over the 2nd seed in the East is bigger than the Nuggets lead over the 10th seed in the West.





Truly wild stuff.

I have a feeling our bench is going to get some quality minutes tonight. I really want to see our 7-10 guys get the most time (Pritchard, Hauser, Kornet and TIllman), to get them even more Playoff ready.
While other teams are fighting for playoff spots hopefully the C's can spend the remaining games fine tuning our bench, and our potential playoff rotations (and giving the starters more rest time).
