The Celtics still piss me off with some of this unacceptable lulls.

But you can't ignore the fact that at the end of the day they took care of business in both the first rounds when in the past they would extend series that had no business going 6 and 7.

Those extra games off really should help in the finals

Put an asterisk next to it already. I’ve been saying Celtics in 5 all year…but feeling like 6 is a possibility here…unless Zinger is back to form, then 5.

All other considerations aside, the Knicks would be a better tuneup. It's definitely good rebounding practice to go up against them. And defending another elite attacking guard in Brunson might be good practice as well.

Playmaking leap from JT. This with even more defensive pressure/attention he’s seen than past years though better spacing/teammates has helped.

Knicks are a gritty team, and Brunson is playing out of his mind, but I don't think they'll have the secondary scoring to keep up with the Celtics. It's going to be tough to win a championship vs elite teams when your 2nd best option is Divincenzo.

In their minds, they don't have to win a champuonship, they just need to beat the Celtics.

Agreed.

JUst want to see knicks/pacers go 7 so our guys (particularly KP) have a little more time to rest up.

Knicks seem perhaps like more of a threat, but they're so beat up and injured that I might prefer playing them instead of Indy.

Either way, the team we play will be pretty good, they will present some challenges but we should win the series pretty easily - especially if KP returns to the lineup.

I think we all know that the real test will be in the NBA finals..
