You guys think Cs will lose another Game 2?

Just win. Don't know what else to say.

Play better defense. Pacers will score like that every game with that defense. Al needs to be flat out way better on offense. Not sure how they hide the bench. Starters need to play 40+ unless Tillman Brisette get burn.

The Pacers offensive rating was 115. Not a particularly good showing by their offense.

Celtics need to post up more and defend the three better, Tilman needs to play as a non drop coverage guy and we need more from on the bench. We may need to dust off Brissett for 5 minutes a game.

Cs weren't close to their best in Game 1.

If Cs shoot 38-40% from 3, it's a 20-point win easy.

Sure compared to their season average but the Celtics are above average defensively so in another sense maybe that was the Pacers level. They actually shot better than their season average, which really they are going to have to win with their shooting.

But they struggled with turnovers (usually a big strength) and their typical poor ability to generate free throws showed up against the best team at not fouling in the league so that sunk them.

So Pacers really depend on the ability to continue to shoot well and probably win games if they get super hot but variance starts to catch up pretty quickly when a team has to win 4 out of 6 games.

the bench HAS to be better in game 2.

Can't help but feel similarities between JB's 3 and JT's gamewinning lay-up versus the Nets in game 1 in 2022.

I look at this all like this.

For 47 minutes the team played poor defense and scatterbrained offense.

47 total minutes of subpar play, at best a C+ rating for their norms on both ends....



But they WON.


If they play at a B+ to their norm they win by 10-15

They shot 60/50 in the 1st half...and scored 64

The next time they play in this building, it will be for the Finals.
