KPs risk of injury looks to increase drastically when the opposing team is overtly physical. When guys like Bam physically push up against KP in attempt to preempt the screen. When guys like Lively/Washington increase their physicality on the glass.

Will they look to limit KP’s involvement in screen action? Instead look for a greater amount of Jrue/White - Tatum PnPs? Maybe agree to concede offensive rebounds in certain situations.

Or do we just roll the dice again with the same schemes for KP.

To me the riskiest play is one of the most effective. When posts up after the switch and turns around and shoots over the little guy in the FT line area. The defender almost always is in his landing area. Freaks me out every time, lol.

But, I don't think they actually do any more than they did this year - which was quite a bit. Hopefully more strength build up of the ankles, etc. Maybe slightly lower minutes per game as they give X, Queta, etc more minutes and not worry about home court as much.

I agree that is the riskiest in terms of likelihood of contracting injury.

We saw in Sacramento a defender was in his landing space when he shot over him. I think it was Barnes? Sabonis?

Just gotta hope that the defender respects the league rules or worst case scenario it’s not worse than a typical ankle sprain.
