How much are we worried about BIID, MAXEY & PG if they stay healthy - especially W/O Zinger until 1/2025

I say again:
In 2001, Philly made it past the second round, and deeper into the playoffs than the Celtics.
Otherwise, they've done neither of those things in 40 years.

This is different - if all stay healthy, that is 1 **** of a dangerous 3-headed monster
Celtics, Sixers, Knicks will be projected 1-2-3 in the EC.

They will be a threat for sure. I have to see how well they all gel together before I can tell you how worried I am. If healthy, big if, I could see them making a serious run this year. ECF/finals.

More than 0 but I’d say equal to my concern that LAC now might fall off the table and gift Okc two top-5 picks.
So I’d say low.

Who plays more games this comings season? KP or Horford son?
Even with KP looking like he will miss at least 30 and perhaps more…I think it’s a toss up. That Philly team if Healthy is really good, I am glad they are more competitive now. I still am not really worried.
I would like another competent big though.
Adem Bona was a great pick for them.

Don’t fear paper tigers. When you’re the champs everyone else is loading up for you. But you sit back LIKE A LION IN THE CUT and stay confident! Maybe Embiid breaks through and makes a deep playoff run some time — but just a few more years of getting hurt and flaming out and he’ll be an old ring-chaser (not here! Not in BOS!)
Maxey and PG are both really good players but I don’t fear either of them. Wait and see how they do together.

Not that worried.I think we'd beat them in 5-6 games assuming health.
For the long term, when Al is retired, we really need to find a big that can at least stay in front of him and take contact...easier said than done.

Re-sign Tillman and I'm not worried at all.

You say it yourself - that KP returns in January.
But all that really matters is playoffs, which begin in april.
So why would we be worried about the sixers in October-December when the games don't even really matter that much?

Paul George is 34. Embiid runs out of gas in 4th quarters of playoff games and is accumulating injuries like KP. Maxey is not built for sustained consistent playoff success although he is spectacular at his best. They will be a very good team especially if Oubre gets better and their rookie is ready to contribute early on but I think the Cs are at a different level.
I think I worry about the Knicks more but Hartenstein gave them a toughness that they will miss. They could be overrated and might not reproduce the success they had last year but good Thib teams are really tough to beat. The Knicks remind me of the 2020 Raptors the year after Kawhi left that the Cs played in the bubble. Bridges/OG/Brunson/Hart isn’t much different from a talent level than Siakam/OG/FVV+Lowry/Powell.

Xero concern at all.
Celtics have so much more talent, and talent that elevates themselves in the playoffs as opposed to choker Embiid and Superchoker George.
Honestly, The only team in the league that can beat the celtics is the celtics. No one can match the talent, fit, chemistry or any of the intangibles that this team has. No one. We are on another level than anyone.
Other teams may have a higher individual talent when looking at raw statistics, but Celtics fit is pristine.

This
Tillman and still have an open roster spot.
PG: Jrue / Pritchard
SG: White / Scheierman / Springer
SF: Brown / Hauser / Walsh
PF: Tatum / Horford / Tillman
C: Kristaps / Kornet / Queta
This team is bananas. BANANAS
Depth 1-8
1.Tatum
2.Brown
3.White
4.Jrue
5.Horford
6.Pritchard
7.Hauser
8. Kornet, Tillman, Scheierman
Just think taking out our top 6 players we have a team that is better than last seasons Pistons, Wizards, Blazers and Hornets
PG: Pritchard
SG: Scheierman / Springer
SF: Hauser / Walsh
PF: Tillman
C: Kornet / Queta

Too early.
There might not even be an NBA playoffs in 2025 if World War 3 breaks out.

Agree. Not signing Tillman would be a disappointment as I see him having a solid season with a preseason and better chemistry with this group. His defensive flexibility will help save wear and tear on others with more offensive burden. And he's a good connector. Queta I think elevates to more regular and consistent minutes than Kornet.
