I love that for Svi, he’s a good player with a chance to outproduce that contract.
Great for us as well, that other vets can see that if you sign on with the Cs, play a role, be a pro, win a ring that then you can go & get paid elsewhere in the league a la James Posey.

I thought Svi played his role as the 13th-15th guy last year perfectly. Played the right way when he got on the court and never complained as far as I could see. Very happy for Svi!

For a 3 point shooting specialist he has some serious hops. I think he has a lot of untapped potential.

First off, congrats to him. Comes here for peanuts, wins a championship, then gets a major salary increase (and maybe more minutes).
Having said that, here in Boston he turned into a shooter who couldn't hit anything. Lack of consistent playing time would do that to you I guess.

Good for him. He will get a real chance to play.

Svi did well for himself. Signed a small contract, played for a championship team, then leveraged it into a decent contract with security for the next few years. Well done, Sir, best to you in Utah where you should get more chances to show your stuff.

Happy for the guy, seemed like a good dude. Am curious about his deal, it might not be a lot more than a vet min with a lot of non guaranteed money.

He wasn’t going to get a shot here so I’m glad he’s going to a situation where he could be a solid rotation option.

NBC sports says only the 1st year is guaranteed but that's still better than what he would've done if Danny Ainge wasn't running an NBA team.

Svi shot 39% from 3 with us last year (108 attempts). Only 42% from the field overall, and a surprisingly-low 67% from the line -- but lol, that was 6 for 9, nice
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/mykhasv01.htmlThat said, Svi never had any 'moment' last year that I remember. There was one or two times when he got *actual* rotation minutes -- usually very briefly -- and I think he did fine with that -- this year I reckon those 3rd-string '2' minutes (all 413 of them:) are up for grabs to either Jaden or Scheierman.
