I bet Brad been recruiting him for a while and Lonnie gave up finding real minutes. Great signing!

Huge upgrade over Brissett particularly when you consider what he brings. Scoring! He's a bucket getter and will be fantastic in that role if he can stay healthy and compete on D.

Hopefully Lonnie knows what he's getting into. Nothing is promised with the way our roster is stacked and with the repeat in mind.

Last four seasons, going backward, he averaged 10pts, 11pts, 12pts and 11 as a bench scorer. In the 23 playoffs he played 14 min/gm with the Lakers … and now he’s signing as an exhibit 10 like he’s Tristan Enaruna … Whatt the H??

I wonder if the team is getting off PP contract and they told Lonnie Walker he’s likely to take Payton’s roster spot??

Brad probably told Lonnie "look what Svi did with this spot".

I doubt it. They wouldn't tell Lonnie that unless we had a deal already in place sending Pritchard out.

LOnnie is just on an exhibit 10. And he's more of a 2/3. Pritchard is more of a PG..don't think this has anything to do with Pritchard.

It's just about making us a better, deeper team. Giving us a nice option for that 15th roster spot..and this means the chances that Harper or Enaruna get that 15th roster spot are much more slim..

Lonnie Walker could be DWhite lite if his head is in the right place. We will see.

White and Walker played 148 games together (142 RS, 6 PO) with the Spurs.

Wouldn't be surprised if that played a huge role in Brad Stevens taking a chance on him. I'm sure he talked to DWhite.
