Welcome to the Exhibit, Hason Ward!

He should be a good add up in Maine. Lengthy 6'9 big with some athleticism and hops. Going after blocks, put backs taking the open corner three. A different look and skill to compliment Skapintsev. More Rob-like.

I looked at his reference page. He is 24 yrs old, played five college years, the last two for Iowa State. His senior year he averaged 8 minutes a game off the bench, his fifth year season, he averaged 16 minutes off the bench. So I dunno what to make of that, if he is playing like 10 or 15 minutes a night in college.

EDIT: looked a the highlight package, those a some nice clips, actually reminds me more of Tyrus Thomas than Rob, looks about 10 or 20lbs light to play the five.

Statistically, looks like a high motor, highly active defender. As a senior, nearly three steals and three blocks per 40. Will probably bring some contagious energy to the practice floor if not the game floor as well.

On the downside, during his junior and senior seasons he also averaged about seven fouls per 40, and he only managed about 16 minutes per game as a senior. So, not expecting him to see time with the big club.

This is clearly Stevens way of Stat padding. Just wants to show he did something every month all season... what a Primadona..

Perfectly legit move to do a local guy a solid here.

Hason is going to be fun to watch in Maine. Great hops and I think his wingspan is Rob-esque.

He probably won't be in Boston unless break-glass-in-case-of-emergency, but that's fine, Maine needs some new guys and they may be contenders again with the talent they have.

From the highlights he's a carbon copy of Tyler Cook from SL, that played with Tatum in HS.

Not sure if Cook is headed to Maine but they both fit the exact same archetype.

Well, we needed a new Cook this year I guess. I thought Cook looked a bit beefier, more low post grinder. Ward looks more athletic and quicker to me.
