- Pacers, perfect team to play on the road, with Halliburton and the club struggling. And no Defense; Celtics
should cruise better than the Playoffs.

- But Siakam and Turner could have big games against Boston's struggling Bigs.

- Like to see a trading deadline deal with Tillman and Two 2s for a better Big. He's been a disappointment.

- Time for PP to continue his streak: Another 20+ game would be nice.

- Hopefully MIA Hauser shows up, as Celtics lack bench scoring beyond PP.

- Time to unleash Rico Dorchester...

This is game 1 of the Don't Let Your Guard Down roadtrip. Last year the Celtics lost twice to the Pacers, twice in a row to the Hawks, and once to the Hornets.

First time in years (pre-covid some time around 2014 or so if I had to guess) I won't be going to a Pacer/Celtics game in person. Stink the schedule only has them in Indy once, but got to see the JB foul to the head game and the clincher in the ECF both really close to the action so I can't complain too much.

Indianapolis. Bisme can make auto racing references again.

Or for double wordplay there's:

Actually, Indy's more like 1000 miles from Boston, but never mind that detail ...
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Celtics just need to take care of the Pacers and then they can swat the Hornets twice...

Interested to see how the Celts look tonight. Indy isn't off to a great start, so they'll be ready to go tonight in their own barn.

I expect a big Tatum game. Would also like to see Pritchard keep it.

honest question: is Nesmith going to get over the Celtics trading him? Will it ever become just another game on the schedule for him? Or will it always be I DEMAND SATISFACTION!!!!

(counter proposal: he just always plays like that -- we know there's some truth to that, but I think he's still clearly been dialing it up extra against Boston)

No Khris Middleton and no Lonnie Walker either. So I don't know how we can consider this a legit NBA game.

The real question is are we going to look back in 20 years when we’ve won 5 championships & have to put an asterisk on all of them because Khris Middleton was out ?

The Pacers could use a real center in this game. Where's Roy Hibbert when you need him?
