Celts Vanquish Virulent Vespids! Victory Cigar vs CHA 11/2

Post#1 » by Gant » Sun Nov 3, 2024 12:21 am

Bisme37 joined Porzingis and Brown on the injured list tonight, so I'm off the bench making the postgame cigar thread.

On the second night of a back to back, the Celtics once again defeated the Charlotte Hornets. A good time was had by all participants.

The double big Celtics busted out of the gate early and built a large lead in the first half. Despite a rough third quarter, the Celtics prevailed, which is the preferred outcome. Luke Kornet stood tall all game long. Pritchard added some needed scoring. Tatum tatumed.

Next game, Monday in Atlanta. Go Celtics! Get well soon bisme!

Had to vote for 'Australian' Luke Kornet (lol Scal)

Not aesthetically pleasing to watch, but I enjoy these type of grinding wins, esp with a solid contribution across the board.

Pritchard continuing to gun for either MIP or 6MOTY !

Thanks for Stepping in Gant!!!

This Game was lackluster.
We need to make some Trades. The Deep Bench is Trash; and we really could have used them.

What was the double big lineup that broke it open?

I prefer the Cavs beating the Bucks 2 in a row.

Another good game from Pritchard. Small sample size still but it sure looks like he made a leap this offseason.

Queta 4/1/3 with 0 turnovers in 15 minutes but 3 fouls.

Kornet 6/6 from the field and 7/7 from the line for 19 points. Great work

Very close to another wire to wire win, on the road, against a team you beat the day before, when 2/5 of the starting lineup is out.

Size really matters in basketball.

Hornets have not real Centers and they ended up getting toasted by Luke all game long.

The biggest improvement is PP now finishes better on drives to the basket.

If Tatum's down nights are gonna be 29/7/3 with double digit trips to the FT line, I'll take that any day. Still don't like the settling for bad outside shots though

I think JT feels that he needs to master that 3pt shot.

That's why the insane amount of attempts from 3.

Guess we'll just have to let it play out.

If the Cs keep winning and JT's production is very high then I don't mind the 3pt shots.

And yeah, he's getting to the FT line a lot this season.

Sweeping these two games series is always trickier than it looks on paper. Good job taking care of business despite missing a couple starters. On to Atlanta.

So true.

I was also thinking that.

These 2-game series is not easy.

Kornet, Hauser, & Pritchard did well. They round out the Top 9.
The Stay Ready Group did well too, between Queta and Walsh.

Just win and get to the playoffs healthy and ready to kill, that’s how I feel about the regular season.

Let’s go my guys!! Work out the kinks along the journey, be clicking when we need to raise 19!!

Mistakes are going to happen, bad shots will happen, can we still stick it out TOGETHER should be the focus!! Long season, don’t let the down overtake your will and competitive drive!

19 WILL BE OURS!!!!!
NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!)
