Oh hell yeah you guys the Celtics were the balls and won the super mega big game woohoo!

Tatum and Horford and White and Brown and Jrue and Payton and team!

Celts avoided a slow start, played great defense and shot lights out from 3 in the first half (to put it mildly). Had a big lead but then fell asleep in the 3rd quarter and all the sudden it was a game. I wasn't in the game thread but I imagine you guys didn't really enjoy that part lol.

Thankfully we battled back and won a tough one! Good game!

I think I used this thread title before but it seemed apt after giving the Cavs their first loss of the season. Order restored!

As far as NBA Cup, we're now 1-1 in Group Play and potentially advancing to the Knockout Round is back on the menu.

Horford and White were the 2 best players tonight. Not particularly close either.

Almost a masterclass by Tony brothers and co in that second half.

Great second quarter on both sides lost ourselves a touch in the third but didn’t matter. Tatum was great Al was great Derrick was great team was great.

Celtics a cut above the Cavs and **** georges niang.

Tatum and Horford for the VC. Hats off to Brown for his 8 assists but at the same time WTF is going on with the dum-dum decisions at 28 y/o?

Also, the Cavs are good.

JT was JT, but Al was Big Al!

Big Al and Tatum smoke it tonight! Almost an AOS on Joey , smh. Queta was awful -20 at one point . That Cavs run was insane and no adjustments made. Jrue Sat forever, not sure if it was a minutes restriction but it was a close call. Gutsy win overall and playoff Al and JT were huuuuugggggeeeeeeeee.

Cavs are a problem but with Zinger , we’re a different level!

That was more difficult than it should have been. Terrible officiating.

Everyone played a role, JB 8 assists, DWhite 19/6/5, Jrue 11/5/4, PP 13 points and Queta didn’t kill anyone.

This game was definitely Tatum 33/12/7 and Big Al 20 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks for VC and CP.

Not sure what happened in the 3rd. Queta I guess. This team never has an answer for Mitchell so that is what it is.

Tatum played like League MVP AGAIN. Al Horford played like an Allstar. White played 42 minutes, and with his defense, also played like an All-Star. Holiday and Pritchard were very impactful for their court time. Jaylen Brown, well, had 4 Turnovers, 5 Fouls, and 7-17 shooting. He always shoots a bit too much for my liking, but made some tough shots to help get the win.

I don’t know why this should have been easier, they were undefeated, they have been lighting it up shooting, they have defended. This was a Cup game. THIS IS THE NBA!
