The Timberwolves have lost 17 straight in TD Garden. The last time they won in Boston, Rob Dillingham was 2 months old.

Minnesota is 8th in offensive efficiency, 11th in defensive efficiency, 10th in scoring margin, but has struggled to win games. At 8-7 they have the 14th best winning % in the league. None the less I view this game as a decent test for the Celtics. Wolves have a talented roster even if it’s lacking in maturity and the fit is a bit awkward.

As of this posting, four teams are top 8 in both offense and defense, per NBA.com -- Warriors (6th, 4th), Grizzlies (7th, 6th), Mavericks (5th, 7th), and Celtics (3rd, 8th). Rankings still volatile this early in the season so I basically posted something useless. So yeah, no different from my other posts.

EDIT: The Spurs kicked the Celtics down to 9th after their game vs. the Warriors just to prove my point.

An early game is always a concern with these Celtics
Something is off - probably breaking their preparation routine or something

Early game is good for us outside the US. No need to wake up in the middle of the night

Good test for our offense. We're so used to mismatch-hunting esp in the 4th Q. With Conley out, there's no obvious player to exploit other than maybe DiVincenzo and Joe Ingles (who doesn't play much anyway). I like these tests for Tatum who have a single guy they can put on him in the perimeter and have someone who can meet him at the rim. Wolves have length and physicality. Like Joe said, this is good for the reps.

Celtic defense is the key to winning this game.

If the Celtics allow the Wolves to score 120 or more, it will most likely be a Celtic loss.

- Celtics should win the game easily because the T Wolves seem to hate each other.

- But the Cs Low Post Defense might need an Intervention after Randle, Gobert and Naz Reid get done with them. I expect Celtics
Non-Starting-Center-Of-The-Future Queta to be rendered more than useless in this game. Even Luka Garza could have
Queta sleeping with the fishes...

- Time for Mazzulla to unleash both PP and Hauser with more playing time and shots.

- Sunk Cost Springer will take up another roster spot for this game but his reign of terror and mediocrity is coming to an end.
