The Timberwolves have lost 17 straight in TD Garden. The last time they won in Boston, Rob Dillingham was 2 months old.

Minnesota is 8th in offensive efficiency, 11th in defensive efficiency, 10th in scoring margin, but has struggled to win games. At 8-7 they have the 14th best winning % in the league. None the less I view this game as a decent test for the Celtics. Wolves have a talented roster even if it’s lacking in maturity and the fit is a bit awkward.

We gotta win this game or we will never the end of it from main board trolls about our bad our record is against West Teams this season (even though surprisingly we have only played one so far)

Only west coast games are slated to start that late.. And that would be 630 our time so what is the complaint?

Some of us live outside the US hehe.

As of this posting, four teams are top 8 in both offense and defense, per NBA.com -- Warriors (6th, 4th), Grizzlies (7th, 6th), Mavericks (5th, 7th), and Celtics (3rd, 8th). Rankings still volatile this early in the season so I basically posted something useless. So yeah, no different from my other posts.

EDIT: The Spurs kicked the Celtics down to 9th after their game vs. the Warriors just to prove my point.

Celtics are not really even giving it a 100% all the time this season and they're still 8th in defense?

An early game is always a concern with these Celtics
Something is off - probably breaking their preparation routine or something

Early game is good for us outside the US. No need to wake up in the middle of the night

Good test for our offense. We're so used to mismatch-hunting esp in the 4th Q. With Conley out, there's no obvious player to exploit other than maybe DiVincenzo and Joe Ingles (who doesn't play much anyway). I like these tests for Tatum who have a single guy they can put on him in the perimeter and have someone who can meet him at the rim. Wolves have length and physicality. Like Joe said, this is good for the reps.

Celtic defense is the key to winning this game.

If the Celtics allow the Wolves to score 120 or more, it will most likely be a Celtic loss.

Heading to Boston shortly to see Twolves game and the Clippers game Monday. Hope Al is healthy enough to play this afternoon or at least Monday. Only Conley out for Wolves. Big game!
