As most of you know, I'm only here for the GIFs! Add your favorite holiday GIF!

What's your favorite holiday dinner main dish? I'm choosing Lamb and Ham. Not only does it rhyme, I only ever get those once or twice a year. That and the Jell-O with the marshmallows, pineapple, and coconut are holidays only.

I hope you all enjoy this holiday season!

I don't know why it took me this long but I just realized that 12 days of Christmas song is really weird. Mofos straight up invented 11 additional days of Christmas and then robbed an aviary of all their birds or something.

I have a 5 year old who sings this song softly in the backseat, in the shower, in her room while playing, and the song is never playing she's just signing the whole thing from beginning to end. I used to find the song incredibly annoying. Now hearing her cute little voice sing it without any pause or hesitation in memorizing how many of each kind of bird makes me smile as I turn down the radio and just listen to her. I supposed it's all about perception of said Mofos.

It's actually just an aviary union commissioned jingle. People were only buying one or none birds - and only of one type and on only one day, if at all. Sales were falling like pigeon poop. The union was inspired by all the people buying BK Broilers whilst humming the incessant have it your way jingle, and a new song was commissioned post haste.

The hired lyricists were lazy and figured everyone else was too, so they just started the song with some "old people birds" suggested by Chat GPT, and then threw in other stuff when they knew people would have stopped listening. Even so, like Icarus (and the bloody birds they were trying to hawk), they flew too high and oversold how many dang birds people should gift to one another. The jingle was a marketing flop that actually caused a decrease in bird sales, and only benefitted purveyors of pear trees and leaping lords.
