No injuries to report for the Celtics. That's a good thing.

No official word yet but Sixers might be out several key guys including Celtics killer Caleb Martin. Embiid, PG, KJ Martin, McCain, and Drummond all dealing with injuries.

Drummond and Caleb Martin are QUESTIONABLE per latest injury report. Rest of listed above for Sixers are OUT.

Davison, Watson, and Scheierman OUT for Celtics on GLeague assignment. Peterson really trending towards the Kornet and Queta trajectory. Won't be surprised if he's signed as 15th man near end of regular season.

Don't forget about Hauser. Stevens has been bringing up Two-Ways at a pretty good clip.

This will be another close game if Maxey goes off for 30 or 40.

Basically I already know the Lakers are somehow going to get a new superstar dumped in their lap every generation, and it's annoying and everything, but in this case I'm not mad at all that their new guy is Luka Doncic. He's not scary to me or the guy who's leading them to their next title.

And I think the Mavs had legit concerns about his conditioning and professionalism and din't want to pay him his looming supermax. So they got an all-nba HOF center and a future first.

Once I got over the surprise it's really not that weird to me. But the main reaction from people is just knee-jerk "Luka is awesome and I hate the Lakers and the NBA." To me it's kinda funny and not that big of a deal. But I'm getting my ass chewed and should probably just shut up about it haha.

Seems a pretty fair take. I don’t hate it for the Mavs but I think they needed more picks coming back to square the value.
