We could lose the next 10 games but win this one, and I'd be totally fine with it. Beat these midseason-crowned juggernaut champs!

Celtics have zero injuries to report for this game. But I imagine Davison, Scheierman, and Watson won't dress up for this one. And by that I mean, they will come into the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse completely naked.

Wade and Okoro are OUT for the Cavs. Everyone else not on a two-way is AVAILABLE.

Scheierman is AVAILABLE for the Celtics. Watson and Davison are not.

Scheierman is AVAILABLE for the Celtics. Watson and Davison are not.

With no Wade we have a chance, though a win would be accompanied by a huge asterisk

Or maybe the Cs will say they already won 2 out of 3 on this 3-game road trip and will just give this game to Cleveland.

The team's shooting/shot profile kinda reflects Tatum's own shooting/shot profile.

JT is one of the best shooting at the rim (80% within 3 feet of the rim) but only takes less than 20% of his shots from there.
The Celtics are one of the best teams shooting at the rim (74% within 3 feet of the rim) but only take less than 20% of their shots from there.

JT shoots around league average from distance (35.6%) but takes more than half of his shots from there.
The Celtics shoot around league average from distance (36.7%) but takes more than half of their shots from there.

Biggest difference is JT getting to the line.
JT FTA rate: .309
C's FTA rate: .229

Both JT and team shoot around 80% from FT line.

JT TS%: 58.6%
C's TS%: 58.8%

Feels like the Celtics need to win this game to show the Cavs we still here.

It's the other way around.

Cavs need to win to show they can be considered a championship contender.

The Celtics have nothing to prove.

10-man rotation with Springer and Kornet as the 9th and 10th guys. Springer to defend either Garland/Mitchell when White/Holiday sits and Kornet to piss Celtics fans off while being the King of Net Rating.

Only 14 active players have a winning record vs. Tatum (minimum 10 games played). Two of them are on the Cavs -- Okoro (1st, OUT) and Mitchell (8th, AVAILABLE).
