Let's go 30-0 post-trade deadline. That'll show everyone who's lost faith on this team!

Knicks could be without OG. And Mitchell Robinson still isn't back. Not sure who Knicks added before the deadline, but I'm sure it can't be any better than Torrey Craig, who will go down as the most impactful midseason addition in league history.

IMO, this is problematic as of now and needs to be addressed before the postseason arrives...
Our top 3 players together on the floor have been a negative so far. A net rating of -1.2 in their 915 possessions together. That's a substantial amount of floor time. Offense would still rank in the top 10 but defense that would be near bottom of the league.
Last season, that was at +11.7. 122.7 ORtg and 111.1 DRtg. So it's not like it hasn't worked before. I don't have the numbers but transition defense is a concern which stems from poor offense (lots of your-turn-my-turn with those three, unusually high turnover rate, and inability to offensive rebound). Defense around the rim is great with KP on the floor but 3-pt defense suffers.
Meanwhile, the bench who keeps doing their job gets the blame hehe.

Losing to the mavs was embarrassing. Just win this one and all is forgiven.

The Celtics have a better record in Madison Square Garden (66.7%) than in TD Garden (66.4%) in the Brad Stevens era.

The only teams from the top 4 of the East and top 4 of the West with a winning record against the top 4 of the East and top 4 of the West are OKC (8-3), HOU (9-5), and BOS (5-4).

Last season our top 3 were more willing to sacrifice for "the Cause". Insert "too many mouths to feed" argument again here. and Iso-centric BB..

It's human nature.
The mission of getting Banner 18 is accomplished.
This time it's personal goals.

I dare Tatum to do something different and come up with a non-concert tour date game lol.

Boston versus new york should be an extremely anticipated game. Two very good teams, going head to head. But Boston has to be having the most Non inspirational season I can remember any defending champion having. If you look at last season and the preceding years, there was so many posters on here, actively talking about the game To come.. but Thanks to this season, it's almost like everyone is tuned out and are just waiting for the playoffs to start..
This has to be the most anti climactic mid season game between two heavyweights in years..

That's how the Jays operate.
Even the Finals of 2024 was anticlimactic after the Cs immediately went up 3-0.

I hope he plays. The healthier the opponent, the likelier Cs show up and take the game seriously.
