The Celtics have won 10 of 11. The Pistons have won 9 of 11 (7 straight, their longest W streak since 2008). This is the battle of the hottest teams in the East. Get excite!

Pistons are rested while Cs are flying in from another planet. But Celtics are so far undefeated (3-0) this season on 2nd night of B2Bs with travel.

Oh, the Celtics have won the last 12 matchups though some of them have been close. DET might want to avoid another season sweep.

According to the Globe, Jaylen Brown has a bone bruise in the area of his left quad, which he played with in the 4th quarter last night. He said he's unsure if he'll play tonight.

They could use him against Cade Cunningham, but there's a decent chance he won't be suiting up.

Just sit JB.

Cs will be fine as long as KP is playing.

I knew that I saw him limping down the court in the 2nd half.

Jrue, Al, KP probably back
Maybe KP is still ill
Sit JB and let him heal

This is a good test for us as DET are athletic and physical and quite decent this year

bone bruises mean there was so much impact that the bone structure started to 'cave' a little. Way better than a fracture, obviously, or any tendon/ligament stuff. Guessing it might be the sort of thing he might try to play through if it were the playoffs but maybe he sits it out tonight to try to be ready for CLE on Friday?

Honestly, hope we sit everybody who played last night big minutes except PP. Play KP, Al and the deep bench. JB banged up and JT deserves a night off. I’d sit Derrick and Sam too. Give me Anton Watson minutes!

Another way of saying it is Jaylen Brown got a knee to the thigh area and it's very sore right now.

Hmm so who’s the fifth starter here?

White/Jrue/Tatum/Al and who else?

Hmm Craig I suppose but that is so boring.

Big story line, who’s the third guy off the bench? Assuming Craig starts, then PP and Queta would be the first two bench guys.

My guess is Walsh is the 8th man with possible Scheierman/Tillman minutes on the fringes.

I think Walsh playing no mins in 2nd half last night is a bad sign for Jordan’s current standing with Joe. Literally, JD Davison got the call over Walsh. But who knows?

Are the Maine guys: Drew Peterson & Anton Watson meeting the team in Detroit? Could be some Peterson minutes if he’s in the building?

Potentially a second round opponent. Take care of business and keep the mental edge over these guys. Dont let them think they can beat us.

According to Gary Washburn all the Maine dudes — JDD, Anton Watson, & Drew Peterson are in Detroit and available.
