6.7 forward.
I don't remember the Celtics ever cutting a guy they drafted like this. Was there anything wrong with Watson? Or was he just the sacrifice they had to make to sign this new guy?

How does this affect Lebron’s legacy?

Good question and idk the answer. I did remark a couple weeks back that Watson was looking pretty thick in highlight clips, but I have no idea if that was indicative of anything.

I’m curious — seemed like a solid young man and a hard worker — defensive chops and a reliable 3 ball — guess I’ll switch to the Watson thread and see if there’s any hints there.
I’ve never heard of Miles Norris. Doesn’t look very fluid, but good shot and athleticism and rangy size — curious his age and defensive reputation?

Son of Matt Barnes.
Not really but that was the closest comp I could come up with after watching five minutes of that.

I've seen him listed as 6'10" multiple places, with a 7'3 wingspan. Definitely looks bigger than 6'7 to my eye, but who knows.

Bbref college page lists him as 6’10”. Also says he went to Brewster Academy so has some local ties, they prob know him well from years prior.

6'7" barefoot maybe? Only JoJo's gonna give you that wingspan with that low a listed height.
I like that we're getting ready to have 2 Milesesesss after we draft Byrd.

Miles is long and athletic, and can shoot the 3 a bit. Seems like a nice add. I guess Watson wasn't getting it done.
With Craig being a vet that can step in at the 2-3, Norris looks like a good compliment to fill in that 3-4 spot. He doesn't seem to have the quick release of Hauser, but can really get up off the floor. Looking forward to seeing him get a few minutes; he might be an energy raiser for the team when the starters are already on the bench cheering the stay ready crew on.

There will be some blowouts when the bottom feeders are in the Flagg sweepstakes. He's a 2-Way, so may get some of those occasional minutes like Davison and Peterson. The bench needs another fun alley-oop guy for the home crowd to cheer on.
