This is our Super Bowl !!! OK, slight exaggeration maybe, but losing would be so sucky. With or without KP. Though I'm guessing without.

*And of course my kid's travel team whose coach Loves the LAL and knows I love Boston just switched the practice from Friday to Wednesday night 630-9.. Probably on Purpose. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

How can you have an "Unidentified Viral Illness" in this day an age, and you are a 7'3" professional athlete making multi-millions, on a team and city that has the Best medical in the Whole World!!!

He may have a novel Covid variant that returned a false negative on the test. Or he could have been tested for an array of viruses, and had an accidental false negative. There’s so many viruses going around New England right now, who knows?

The info we have makes it very unclear what is actually going on. Because KP came back and played so poorly and looked so lethargic against Detroit, when the illness kept persisting, I thought “maybe he has mononucleosis?”But mono would be easy to diagnose, so who knows ….

If it is some sort of Virus, that would make me very nervous about letting KP near anyone on the team.

Perhaps he has an elevated white blood cell count with no specific cause yet identified.

Looking forward to this one.

Have no doubt we will be up for it during the first three quarters. Like the previous game, and like we have showcased a number of times, the key is retaining the focus and execution throughout the 4th.

Seems obvious and repetitive, but it's more notable against OKC who all season ascend in the 3rd/4th quarters by ramping up their on ball defensive aggression. I shudder at the image of having Jaylen dribbling in the centre of the floor against Wallace/Caruso and a hedging Dort/Chet in crunch time. So I'm really hoping Jayson is super aggressive down the stretch with ball in hand, and we even consider running some high post stuff to combat this.

KP is still DOUBTFUL. JT is QUESTIONABLE. JB is PROBABLE.

Nothing official but Jalen Williams exited their game vs. Nuggets 'cos of a hip strain. He's day-to-day. Otherwise, they're mostly healthy (Mitchell and Topic, non-rotation players, are OUT.)

To me this team poses the greatest risk of us repeating. They have length and athleticism at all the critical positions. I believe they are taller and faster as well. They also have a certified closer. The Celtics need to show something tomorrow night.

Jalen Williams is indeed OUT along with Topic, Ajay Mitchell, Dillon Jones and their two-ways.

KP is upgraded to QUESTIONABLE. Celtics two-ways are OUT.

DEN won by limiting Shai to 14 shots. They just didn't let him get the ball
This is not how we are playing
Missing Jalen Williams - Shai will be more ball dominant

Looking forward to this game

Per NBAPR:
Celtics clinch a playoff spot with a win AND Hawks loss.
Thunder clinch a playoff spot with a win OR a Timberwolves loss.

Would be nice to win but at the end of the day does it really matter? Boston is pretty much locked into the second seed in the east at this point.

I spend way too much time on the GB and whenever a good team beats us in a big game I get to read 15 threads about it. So let's win imo.

I have a slightly complicated question. (Post Legal answers only. Others by PM, per RealGM.):

What is the Difference between "NBC Sports" and "NBC Sports/Boston" ?

Background:
I have internet service, through Xfinity (Comcast); and No TV.
So far, to watch "NBC Sports/Boston", and thereby most Celtics games, I have to buy something like Youtube TV.
Youtube TV is about 3 times what I pay, just for the Internet.

There's a service (on Xfinity, using the internet/computer) called "NOW TV", that has the "NBC Sports" channel.
But, is that the "NBC Sports/Boston" Channel?

Thank You in advance, for any Answers.

I want to give you an answer but I don't live in the Boston media market, so what I have to say about it may not be the case in your area. There's def more than one "NBCSports" channel but I don't know which would be in the package you're talking about.
