Omg this is out of control you guys we won the big game again like what is going on here!?!
Jayson Tatum (!) was playing beautifully and then bleeping Sabonis went goon mode and took him out on an undercut. Hopefully it's a short term ankle sprain and JT gets some rest and doesn't miss a beat.
Aside from that... Payton Pritchard! Luke! And this Baylor Scheierman kid is really good you guys! Rook is fitting right in with the vets and looking super impressive!
Suns Wednesday, Go C's!

Better hope for an ankle sprain.

Tatum and Pritchard for VC and CP, but Scheierman was a pleasure to watch. Binky of the Month.

Since we are allowed 2 Votes, I voted Scheierman for VC and Scheierman for CP. He is/was that good.

This one was smooth sailing except for the first few minutes. Makes a difference when everyone is available. Still, Joe played a tight rotation. Great overall Team Effort, with kudos to Tatum, Kornet, Zinger, BAYLOR SCHEIERMAN, Pritch, Derrick & Neemias.
Bummer about that move by Sabonis and the injury to Tatum. Sabonis is not as clean as you might think if you watch him.
An Alternate Perspective:
Pts. + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed Field Goals - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)
+23.5 Jayson Tatum 26 minutes
+21 Luke Kornet 26 minutes
+16.5 Kristaps Porzingis 31 minutes
+16 Baylor Scheierman 28 minutes
+16 Payton Pritchard 35 minutes
+14.5 Derrick White 33 minutes
+4.5 Jaylen Brown 26 minutes
+4 Neemias Queta 1 minute
0 Drew Peterson 1 minute
-0.5 J.D. Davison 1 minute
-1 Jordan Walsh 1 minute
-1.5 Jrue Holiday 31 minutes
Team Total = 113

If there was a Poll for top 3 thread titles, I would vote this is one in my top 3.

PP going to end up taking the season 3 point record if Tatum has to miss some time

Luke Kornet may not be the Hero we deserve but the one we need
Tatum and PP and Joe all smoke the cigar for me.
Still very angry at Sabonis but he generally has never been a dirty player like Draymond and seemed generally concerned for Tatum's well being.
Looks like our man child rookie Baylor will be part of our playoff rotation.
Get well Tatum, we are pretty much locked in for the 2nd seed, so no need to rush him back.
Also the Lakers lost too which is also a bonus

Nice Abby interview with Scheierman. He seems to be an unassuming dude, like most of the guys on the roster. Hard not to love this team.

I would bet everything I own that PP really wants it as well. And how amazing would that be, to break that record, for a player coming off the bench??

Bummer about JT. I hope the injury is fairly minor.
The season runs until April 13, after which is a week off to play the playin games
So its about a month until the playoffs game 1
That didnt look like a more than a month ankle sprain recovery to me
(knock on wood)

Baylor has gotten better on defense.
It's just a matter of time before he gets going in the NBA.
He's more than just a shooter.
Baylor can rebound, can drive to the basket and score, and he's a playmaker.
Could be similar to what PP went through before becoming a top 8 player.

Adam Himmelsbach:
Jayson Tatum isn't being made available for interviews. He's at his locker eating and joking with teammates and wearing sneakers on both feet though.

What's that old saying about the certainties in life? Death, taxes, and DeRozan and Lavine shooting the ball a lot at a low percentage and not winning many games of basketball?

This is definitely one of my favorite times of the season, we get to see the “others” try to make their mark, and we’re winning! Win win! I need Rico to keep trending upward, he’s doing some of everything out there, it’s getting moist in here!! You have to get out there at the end of the season and do exactly what Pritchard did, make them want to play you! Show them that you belong! Rico is well on his way!
Thought everyone played well, except for JB. Looked like another team win, yeah, Tatum was the best player obv, but I thought everybody went out there and did their thing!
Korny is underrated, but never faded!

Get well soon Big Deuce, we need you clicking and oiled for the playoffs! You’re tough as nails, but make sure it’s not the expense of optimal health when it’s time to win the real thing! I know you wanna play for the fans, but they better understand, we need that chip again! Don’t just throw dirt on it, give it a little time! We know you’re that ninja, you have nothing to prove the rest of this regular season!

Sucks about Tatum’s ankle. Hopefully he just misses a couple games.
