Cold Shooting Celts Get Burned! Loss vs MIA 4/2

Ugh you guys that big game was a big dud and not the super most enjoyable imho!

First half was really rough. Celts were not locked in at a high level and ice cold shooting the ball, and our best player was Luke Kornet, who kept having to sit because of foul trouble. Jaylen sparked a nice run in the 2nd half and the C's got going a little bit, but we didn't sustain it, JT wasn't on his game, and it just wasn't our night.

They say the first game back from a road trip is tough because you exhale and relax and lose some edge, and that looked like the C's in this one. It was a dud I tell ya!

Suns Friday, Go C's!

Another example tonight as to why tatum will never win an mvp. He has some haters out there because of this reason. Inconsistency.

Man, this losing thing sucks. How do other teams deal with this?

Tatum is extremely consistent over his career, he is top 5 level for YEARS! All NBA level so many seasons. He may not always hit his shots, but most of the league wishes they could be as inconsistent as people think Tatum is. He can’t win for losing with these narratives. Score, rebound, assist, leads the team in so many things all the time, DEFENDS, etc! That deserves more respect than he’s been given!

Pritch not as bouncy and active lately, think he needs an opponent to disrespect him or one of the others to get his blood pumping again. I think he’ll let loose when he gets himself REALLY going again in offense, just needs to relax a little or something. Talk to DWhite about finding happiness again, who is now team history sniper (GOAT)!

Come on, man Tatum has been playing out of his mind for months. This game was completely meaningless and it’s not surprising Boston didn’t really have a whole lot of interest in this game.

I don’t understand the second part of that tweet.

He’s not always gonna be himself and has a plan for the playoffs.

WTF? If it’s some sort of bone bruising stuff sit him FFS

Wow, where to start... Is he even in the running for any awards? Also, is he even the one who decides he's playing? My guesses are no and no.

The guy was clearly nursing a leg tonight. He should've sat, and should sit going forward. This is 100% on Joe. (To Brown's credit, and aside from the usual stupid decisions, he had a pretty good game tonight.)

IMO he’s just going to play through it and it’s more than just a bone bruise. Don’t quote me because I’m definitely not anything close to a doctor or know anything for real, I’m just talking. He said it’s gotten worse over time.

The real kicker is when he said for now he’s just going to say it’s just pain and not anything more serious. FOR NOW. I took it to mean he’s not going to say what’s really going on right now so opponents won’t try to take advantage of it or it could be more serious, but won’t get worse from playing through it. I thought that’s when he kinda dodged the question when the guy asked if it’s more serious or is it just pain that has to be managed.

I’m mangling what they said, but I didn’t feel right about his answers. Also, I wasn’t convinced on the 65. Does he even have a serious chance for any of the teams or awards? Is some of his money tied up in it too?

How does a bone bruise get worse over time? We have some people on the boards that may know something about it, can y’all explain it?

I get the bad shooting, but JB still makes those stupid mistakes.

Stop dribbling through 2 or 3 defenders.

Miami and GSW will double when you make your move.

JB should know that by now.

And the heat checks should be kept to a minimum because it's a momentum killer when you jack up a 3, miss the shot, and the opposing team gets a dunk on the other end.

If JB is fighting through an injury to play meaningless games right before the playoffs, our coach better sit him the **** down or Brad better make him do it. So **** stupid.

Well we all knew this was going to be a loss with KP, Jrue, Al and Tatum taking the night off.

Who is we? I thought we had enough out there to win. They needed to turn it over less, JB and white had 7 combined. They missed plenty of good shots. Some key rebounds missed hurt in key moments. Poor D hurt at times (overreacting). There were many instances where we messed up. All of it combined and here we are. None of the reasons we lost had to do with the missing players.

I thought the first run for TC wasn’t bad, he snatched a couple O boards, but we didn’t hit the shots, the 2nd stint was a massacre. Still didn’t realize he was -23 until CG mentioned it. Don’t know if he was the main reason for that or was it a bad plan to go small with him. I think Bam heated up then, but I can’t really say for sure. Their offense seemed easy for them when we went small. Korny did get the fouls and we weren’t killing it with Queta either, probably needed to see if X could do something.
