tying the NBA away record or sitting our starters?
I am for sitting at least JB, KP and Jrue

ORL are a tough matchup for us

I'm with that.

We don't even need all of our, essentially, 6 Starters for the Regular Season.
3 Starters should be enough.

Everyone is out except JB is questionable. Because that makes sense.

JB looking selfish, trying to get the all NBA minutes in. Not even sure he makes the cut this season, but if this is true an act like that will get the JB trolls going and try and force him out of town again lol..... Absolutely no reason why JB should be playing until rd 1. I'm shocked the C's brass are ok with this!? We shall see how it plays out, C's need a healthy JB for a banner 19 run!

A Celtics loss here solidifies Magic's position at #7. Pretty much clinches it. Looks like they'll be our 1st round matchup.
A Celtics win clinches our 2nd 60-win season in the last 16 seasons.

In any case, the Mazzulla Celtics team has already clinched two of the top 4 Celtics records in the last 39 years.

Suggs and Mo Wagner are still OUT for the Magic.

An unfortunate number of injuries happened in the Knicks game, but no more than you'd expect in this situation.

Assuming Brown is out, here's the active green roster:

Kornet, Queta, Tillman
Craig, Walsh, Norris
Hauser, Peterson
Scheierman
Pritchard, Davison

Guess for the starting lineup: Somebody, somebody, Hauser, somebody, somebody else.

Busy night at the 31to6 household, so I might have to tip my cap to the truest of the diehards who watch this one.

JB gonna come out firing away, I'm guessing.
If he goes for 40 and/or Pritchard or Hauser hit double-digit 3s -- and/or Scheierman has his first triple double -- maybe we win.
If JD Davison feels like he is in Maine, maybe we do too
OR maybe Jordan Walsh will break his career high of [checks] 10 points but that'd really surprise me

im guessing JB has some kind of contract incentives at 65 games. playing for all nba when the guy can barely move is way too stupid of a reason & he seems like a smart guy

spotrac says his contract has no incentives, it's a fully guaranteed supermax.

He almost definitely has a bonus in his contract for all-NBA, all star appearances and games played

Edit: whelp maybe not per Spotrac

Here's Keith Smith on that:

I shared this because the bonus stuff was suggested as to why JB has been playing.

I'm passing no judgement on JB playing. If he wants to play, and they don't think his knee issue can be made worse, then why not play? Whatever his reasons are, they're his reasons.

Since this is out there (based on questions I keep getting):

Jaylen Brown does not have any bonuses in his contract. He's on a straight max deal. So, there are no contractual incentives to being eligible for/making an All-NBA team.

I thought for sure they were gonna try to win this one. In the end, i guess it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, one of the key treatments for knee impingement is rest.

JB's selfishness is honestly trade worthy at this point. Management needs to really assess this, especially if we don't win it all

It's gonna be the PP and Baylor show tonight. It'd be so great to beat them without 5 of our top 6 guys, and I suspect Jaylen will only play 22 minute if he plays at all.
