Damn.. Obviously, no one wants Boston's starters to get rusty. Yet we can't risk injury either. Young players are so much fun (well most of them). And what will the NBA offices say? It's pretty obvious we are "Not as injured" as our reports say. Can we keep getting away with 7 "impingements" per game?
If our main starters play, you know they are going to sleepwalk through it and not play hard at all.
Why I wish this regular season ended already.

Treat it like a scrimmage is my thought. The schedule is what it is, and too much time off before R1 starts is a risk of getting rusty. Stay in routine, get some cardio in, and work on whatever things you want to work on before the playoffs.
CHA does NOT want to win, so put your guys out there and have them play a double-big zone, and on offense move the ball around and put up a ton of 3s. If that doesn't work, Pritchard and Luke will bring it off the bench against CHA backups much better than against ORL starters.
Depending on how embarrassing the mid-April Hornets are, adjust for a true debauchery of a game on Sunday. Fan Appreciation Day may mean "hey look, no one pooped in the stands!"

Play our top 9 sans JB one last time. Get the 60th win and have them rest/recover for one week.
Would be only our 4th 60-win season since the 1986 championship season. The Hornets have never had a 55-plus season in their 35 years of existence (only three 50-win seasons).

For the Hornets, Diabate is QUESTIONABLE. Green, Mann, Ball, Bridges, Miller, and Grant Williams are OUT.

Phew hadn’t thought of the Grant Williams maiming people angle until just now they dodged a bullet.

Fun Random Trivia: LaMelo Ball (3rd) and Payton Pritchard (26th) were both drafted in 2020. Ball has played in 231 regular season games. Pritchard has WON 232 regular season games. Pritchard has made 372 threes off the bench since start of last season. Ball has made 249. Payton has more than twice the offensive rebounds off the bench (165) as Ball (76) in that same span.

Payton Pritchard is 2nd in VC voting therefore he should be 6th Man of the Year. Some are diminishing his impact on the stacked Celtics team but those who didn't watch every game don't know how much he saved our asses for some of these games. We also regularly rested our top 6 guys so PP came in and had an elevated offensive role on any particular day.

Charles Lee might try to pull another illegal hug tonight. Just something to watch out for.

This just made me hope that CHA gets Cooper Flagg. They can educate him in the ways of Celtics basketball until he's ready to join the real thing at 25 or so.

ha -- sorry! I'll remember that about POLICE BLUE font
red seems too aggressive, and green is for sarcasm, right?
maybe a nice orange..and yeah, I was sure JB would play these last two games, and wow he isn't, so I'm wrong already -- for those scoring at home -- be safe; use protection;)

This is All very true.
Pritchard should be awarded the 6MOY award.
I wonder what his role will be next year, and going forward?

Who's the woman who kept getting nominated for a daytime Emmy for her soap opera, but never won? PP could be the 6MoY for years in a row, but never start.

Honestly thought we kinda had an underwhelming year and we’ll still probably going to get 60 on the season. Maybe Tatum is underrated
