It would be embarrassing to get swept by this very average Knicks team. The Celtics need to win the next game, and Joe has to step up—start calling timeouts whenever the Knicks gain momentum.

I would say that Boston cannot possibly shoot that badly 3 games in a row but that may be a lie.

Boston is clearly shook and has no idea what to do when their 3s don't fall. I expect MSG to be loud and the Knicks players to be hyped. I said before GM2 that if Boston loses we are looking at a Pacers/NY ECF. No reason for me to think otherwise at this point and this is a flashback to 2023 against Miami when they got down 0-3 to an inferior team.

In theory, this series should be far from over but my confidence is shaken now that it's confirmed these dudes are a bunch of choke artists lol

And after 2 losses, you would think Joe would try something new, a different play? Or more importantly, a different player. Somebody that can maybe introduce some good energy to this team.

But I suspect it will be the same old samo, and just hope we make some more shots.

Not sure if Joe has any idea how to mix it up.

Few things bothered me last night about Joe:

Never used his lose it or use it time out (not the biggest deal, but what harm would it have caused using a TO when this team was struggling)

Fouling Robinson was pointless and because of that Boston was in the penalty sooner than necessary.

Called a TO, and JT scored a dunk but or some reason Joe thought it would be a good idea to let these guys do their own thing. With 12 left the best play was apparently JT driving to the corner, with 2 guys smothering him which lead to a TO.

Boston may need a new coach that can call TO and mix things up more. This team is more talented then NY and it is absurd they are down 0-2 especially losing two 20 point leads back to back.

Actually in theory this series is already over. We only have a 7% chance of winning the next 4 out of 5 games.

If you would have asked me if we could win 4 out of 5 against this Knicks team before this series, I would've said yeah no problem .

The key is getting a 21 point lead instead of a 20 point lead.

Atleast we don't play until Saturday. At least we'll have 2 days rest.

Horford was moving like he was wearing 100lb shoes in the 4th and chucking 3PTAs that had no chance of going in the hoop. We've seen since 2022 playoffs that Al in high leverage minutes just can't hold up on short rest, but that he's a lot better with an extra day's rest.

If KP can only give us 15 mins, we'll need Al to contribute offensively. He'll probably be a good bit fresher come Saturday

If it goes down to the wire, Brunson will take over. We need a blowout win.

Jaylen Brown and Al Horford were part of the last 0-2 comeback (losing two at home) of a Celtics team. They know it can be done.

Two days are enough for all of these guys to grow some brains and balls. I know it’s cliche and we can all discuss the basketball aspect of the game but The Knicks have wanted it more plain and simple (wanted Josh Hart as a Celtic for years). We back to being too cool for school attitude. Scrap, fight, kill like there’s no tomorrow. If KP’s not right, just sit him. He’s been a liability tbh except Joe just doesn’t trust some of his guys. You’ll be out of a job soon if you don’t do something different.
