My Jaylen Brown trade proposal attempt rate from the previous thread is higher than the Celtics three-point attempt rate.

Unless the Celtics are getting back Giannis the chances of Brown going anywhere is slim

Yeah. Brown is the #2, of our 1-2 Punch. I suspect that he'll be here for awhile.
I can't see the Celtics splitting them up anytime soon; kinda like Pierce and Garnett.

I've been high on Holiday being the one to Trade, because of decline, due to age.
However, Porzingis is far less available, and thus imminently more expendable, as well as costly.

I now lean more toward Trading Zinger.

Wouldn't be surprised if both of them (KP and Jrue) are moved this summer..

It makes more sense to move Hauser, especially if they repeat. If they do repeat that’s probably the only subtraction they make as they try for Banner 20. If they win and Jrue or KP are traded people are going to be ripped.

I really hope Brad isn't a bitch this off season.

Send JB packing, I really don't care what we get in return.

JT, White and PP should be the only ones safe.

We get it. You don’t like Brown and you never have. How many posts can you make where you say the same thing? Outside of a deal to improve the teams title chances like a Giannis, you keep Brown.

There is no reason to keep brown. He makes a huge amount of money. And yet he is the only player. We can actually trade and get some good value in return..

Houston or Atlanta right off the top of my head can definitely give us some good assets for brown.

And clearly both those teams need to shake up their roster a bit. And i'm sure there are some other teams that could be interested.. Take Charlotte, for example. How many young players are they gonna keep drafting? They need a quality veteran with that squad.

You don't get it. It's a money thing. You can't pay somebody that much who produces what he does. I think he's a great human being.

A season without JT is a death sentence to his trade value, he'll be a walking John Wall.

I don't look at trades as just talent for talent. We have to factor in many other things, and the biggest thing we have against us is not just how bad he is, how much we pay him, how many more years we have to pay him, how much worse he's going to get over those years and how much that salary is going to go up over that contract term.

There are teams with GM's in the hot seat who could use him right now.

We're not a play-in team next year if he's at the helm. Happy to be wrong, but I won't.

Brown has to go this off-season. He is going to be exposed running this team next season and his trade value will drop to zero. Trade him now before we get stuck with his albatross contract.

JB, KP, and Jrue must all go.

No Tatum next season means lottery.

Reset the salary cap and keep JT, White, PP, Luke, Sam, Rico, Queta, and some of the 3rd stringers.

Let's get back in the hunt in 2027.

That strategy is the best way to have Tatum leave when his contract is up. Similar to what Giannis is doing right now.

Depends on the assets returned, but yeah, definitely not my first choice. If you can make a killer deal, you do it, but don’t panic trade.

I personally keep Brown, White and Tatum and move pretty much everyone else. Mostly Holiday, Porzingis and Hauser. Pritchard if you have to move him but I prefer to keep him.

Yep, I agree. Basically same order as before for me: Hauser, Jrue, KP. But if someone blows you away for anyone else you listen. Just like you would have yesterday.

Trade Brown to Houston for Amen Thompson or Jabari Smith (FVV salary one year left) and their 10th pick.

Trade Brown and Hauser to Utah for Markkanen and Kessler +21st pick saves us 9 million as well. Utah can not use anymore young players. Ainge catching heat for tanking.

Trade Brown for Zion straight up. Saves us 10 million.

Trade Brown to SAS for 2nd pick?? Fillers may be required.

As if we're not getting anything back for JB, KP, and Jrue.

I didn't say we get nothing for those 3.

There will be players and picks coming to Boston for those 3 starters we send out.

Trade Brown to Brooklyn for Cam Johnson and #8 and #19 draft Khaman Maluach and finally get a true Big man prospect plus Fleming/Wolf/Carter Bryant at 19
