Not gonna lie, it kind of seems like he is gonna replace Tillman

And Hugo is gonna replace Walsh..

I always want bigs so I’m glad they took one

I’m enchanted with passing bigs so even better!

Now to see if he can, like, do other things though

I know he rebounded well at Kentucky
AND HE A LEFTY!!

We need a center on a 2way with KP gone, no matter what happens with Al and Luke
I like the pick overall. Bogi and Toohey were higher on my want list but Amari Williams could figure it out and be useful
&, like I said, fills a roster need for physical size

and he is a fun player, which counts for something

He can’t shoot worth a damn but I think I’m in love! I know that’s a bad sign for his future, but I can’t help it.

He can only shoot/go left, time to help jb and vice verse!

It’s his ball handling in addition to his passing — not many guys can bring it up and turn it into a postup — and then he’s got a lot of good looking jump hook highlights out of the post! Good range/good touch on the ones that go in:)

How did he initially acquire his guard-like skills? Anybody know?

When I tell you I’m 50m in and if he’s dribbled more than once per touch with his right, I’ll eat my hat. He can handle it with that left though!

Omg the passing! I saw a couple seconds of him passing before I wanted him as my pick after ray… but my gosh he’s a passing beast. Not simple stuff either! Like the touch on his passes?!! He puts it right in their pockets! Some of the passes I didn’t even see who it was going to, fooled the camera guy too! Like WOW!! No really??!!! Wow!

No he whips it and it gets to his man softly and perfectly!!

Good point about his ball handling, which is one important difference between him and Rasheer Fleming. And thankfully also not a Klutch client like the latter.

Lol he can defend too? Why did he fall like that? Because he can’t shoot and only goes left? I don’t get it.

Yeah, his passing is very good.

But that's also the advantage sometimes with drafting a player who's much older. Amari was in college a long time, working on his game, developing. He's not your typical 19 yr old freshman.

He's strong, built like a man. And has some pretty developed skills.

Look forward to seeing how he does at summer league..

Because he can't shoot, can only go left, yup.

Also because while his driving/passing are good, sometimes the decision making is not. Like sometimes he will force passes in there, or force his drives and make mistakes, turn the ball over.

Also because he's very old and wasn't really on NBA team radars until this season..

Okay, he’s just sitting in the paint letting his man bomb 3s. He can defend out there but he’s not getting out there. Gotta know his man better. At least get out there and contest. Need a bit more effort. It’s crazy because his motor is usually on GO.
