Luka Garza is out tomorrow following that shot to head, he's entered into Concussion Protocol
It's not our M.O. but I'd love to see a touch of Amari Williams minutes manana

The Knicks have ruled Mitchell Robinson (ankle injury management) out for Friday's game vs. Boston.
In more encouraging news, Josh Hart (back spasms) has been upgraded to questionable
KAT (quad strain) is also listed as questionable

Not sure If this is good news or bad news but Boston was a better road team last year than Home. I recall.. so there is that at least.

No Mitchell Robinson is always good news if you're the Celtics.
That guy has been giving the Cs trouble for some time now.

I am just curious if Joe keeps the same lineup and rotations.

Doubt he changes anything game 2. I have the Knicks and Cleveland in the ECF. Tough game if OG and KAT end up playing. Garza is out, I know he sucks but that means more Tillman, unfortunately.

Well Garza is out tonight,,he only played 6 mins in the 1st game, though..so either Joe distributes those mins to the other 9 guys who played or he maybe goes 10 deep again and plays someone else this time..perhaps Hugo/Baylor/Walsh or maybe even Amari for a few mins if he wants to play another big.
He didn't play Amari much in preseason, though so I doubt he plays him tonight. I'm thinking Amari probably only plays garbage time mins (and heavy mins in Maine) during the first half of the season..then if he's coming along well, maybe he gets some rotation mins later in the season..
It'll be interesting to see who (if anyone) emerges from the Hugo/Baylor/Walsh group to get some rotation mins..it's a long season..I'm sure that over the course of it, those 3 guys and Minott will get some chances to prove themselves.

IMHO Hugo has already emerged from that group and it's not particularly close.

We'll see if Joe feels the same way. So far, Minott is the only one to get regular season rotation mins this season..

I was referring to the Hugo/Baylor/Walsh group. Minott has already earned more minutes than he got on Wednesday.

Ha, yeah--I'll be happy just to see a few Hugo minutes.

There's little difference from last season to this season if Mynot, Hugo, and Boucher will get less minutes than Hauser.
If the Cs want to play fast and aggressive then Sam should not be starting.

I don't fully subscribe to your 1st statement. I'm vehemently in agreement with the 2nd one.
There were more stretches than there should be that they did not have 3 out of Brown, White, Pritchard, Simons, Hauser, out there. Hauser did not take his 1st shot until his 7th minute of playing time vs. 76ers (when he was reinserted).

Sam 22 minutes while Boucher only got 16, Mynot 14, and Hugo didn't play.
It should be Boucher and Mynot at the PF spot.
Sam should return to the bench and come in for JB at the SF spot.
I don't think PF is the spot for Sam.

My perspective remains, if Hauser and Brown are on the court together, I see it as Brown (PF) and Hauser (SF). I mean, it was Brown defending Embiid at times, never Hauser.

That's not ideal.
Playing JB as a PF makes the Cs a small team.
It has to be Queta and Boucher or Queta and Mynot at all times.
That's what I think is ideal.

I agree with you in principle about it not being ideal. It's not likely to increase hope for up-tempo play, but if Garza shows to be a 3pt threat, you can get Tillman in there a bit more in double big units. In any event, let's hope to see better offensive integration with Boucher and Minott, starting tonight, and maybe they'll make their case.
