Queen and Zion will be a problem inside.

If Joe insists on Sam and PP playing together at the same time for extended minutes, this could be an 0-4 start to the season.

Flying from Detroit -> New Orleans seems like a tough ask on a back to back. Schedule makers not doing us any favors to start the year

Brad's 1st year as coach, 2013-14.

Cs started 0-4 that season.

I think that we need to Pull our Two-Ways back from the G League (Preseason) and play them.
Send Scheierman & Walsh back to Maine.

Celtics Roster, 2025-26:
Starters: Pritchard - White - Brown - Boucher - Queta
Rotation: Simons - Gonzalez - Hauser - Minott - Tillman
Reserves: Scheierman - Walsh - Garza

Two-Ways: Shulga - Harper - Amari

I was just thinking Rico needs to go to Maine if he's gonna get his groove back.

They won't do it, but I wouldn't mind feeding Shulga and Amari a few minutes of real time before they settle in up in Maine for a bit.

Zion has to be licking his chops for this one. They’re still winless as well.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Tatum isn't fixing this team. It is not enough. We need another star player, so getting a high draft pick is what can propel us to contender status again quickly.

One terrible season for a chance to contend again for multiple years, I will take it.

0:4 a perfect start. But to be real bad we will have to "rest" White and Brown a lot... where is a minor injury when you need it...

Amari is the team's only legit big body and was #1 in defensive rebounding percentage in the SEC last year. Also, a great distributor. I really hope he's in the rotation by midseason.

We need:

Tatum to return to at least 90-95% of what he was

A top 20 big man

At least 2 good rotation players like we developed Pritchard/Hauser and to an extent Kornet. Hopefully Hugo can be one of them.

The ultimate jackpot would be lucking into a top 3 pick of course, I think it would have big franchise altering implications. Peterson would be the big winner here imo, but Cam/AJ are also nice options.

Anyway sorry for derailing, hope Pritchard drops 40 tonight

Yup!

Ainge tried to get the #3 pick, but Philly didn't bite.

This draft seems really good, so timing is good for a re tool season. Top 10 pick should net the Celtics a start potential guy or at the very least a strong contributor.

Trust me, the two ways will be playing a ton this year. Probably the whole 2nd half of the season.

I'm not against a top 10 pick, but not this early.

The new owner will want to sell playoff tickets because that's added revenue.

I've said all summer long that the time to trade Simons is during the regular season.

So let's see what Brad does.
