Well hell you guys that wasn't the big game we were looking for ugh.

Celts were playing with tons of ball and player movement and got off to a great early start, but quickly went ice cold shooting the ball, lost the bounce in their step, and just all-around sucked for most of the night.

We came alive late, led by Jaylen Brown, but the comeback fell short and we took a big stinky loss. Two thumbs down on that game imo.

Shake it off and bounce back I guess!

Can they shoot better? 11-51 from 3, killed on the boards and no D in the second half. AOS.

This team sucks. Need to get a lottery pick. Shooting the most threes as the worst 3 point shooting team and basically being the worse rebounding team isn't doing anything.

We blew away that Game like 4 times.
We were in the Lead most of the Game.

No Excuse to lose that Game.
There was plenty of time to adjust.

Now we're 3-5.

Jaylen Brown goes down with a prolonged injury, this team is a 20 win team. I guess the pro tank crowd has something to root for this season

The one complaint I always have is if you are not hitting the 3 ball then stop shooting them. JB to be blamed too. JB 0-9 from three point range otherwise a really nice game

UTA attempted 31 3s so we out attempted them by 20

This was a LIFELESS loss, imo

I'm not really seeing the long term viability of Simons, Tillman and Garza. Garza plays hard and maybe we could use him better, try to put him into Enes's old role where we try to get him some touches at the basket.... But these threes guys, I'm not seeing a future here

I'd be laughing my ass off at that, if we didn't lose.

Let's be honest. Utah is nowhere near as bad as their reputation suggests, Lauri is back playing at an elite/all star level and Keyonte George is a serious good young player/stud.

Lack of quality big/interior presence and poor shooting did us in.

This is not the first nor last time we lost this season cause of those reasons

This season is just going be to a true roller coaster.

We have some serious issues; can't rebound, take but importantly don't make 3's, and get abused at the line every game

Look at how many more FTs teams get vs. we do each night. Basically anywhere from 10 to 20 extra FT every night. Since we don't shoot well, you do the math...

The 3's remind me of that Seinfeld scene with the rental car:

Minott and Hugo played 22 combined minutes. That's not enough. Feels like neither played much in the second half.

Defense was bad in the second half.

Still not sure what to make of Queta. He did some good things but got in foul trouble early and made a really bad play to lose the game.

I love me some Jaylen Brown and it was fun watching him go off in the second half.

And I'm not sweating wins and losses this year. Draft pick needed some help anyway. Brad is definitely soft tanking with this big man rotation.

Refs absolutely hosed them with the no call on the trip. If that's called it's two free throws potentially sending the lead from 1 to 3. Instead, fast break the other way to put Jazz up 1. That swing is gigantic in terms of win probability. Just an insane thing to miss. I literally don't know how they justify that call.

Props to Brown tonight. +21 in a game you lose by 2. So the Celtics were -23 in the 10 minutes he sat. Literally the only guy outside of 1st quarter Pritchard who had anything.

Celtics now 119/382 from three this year, that's 31.15% good for last in the league.
