Well hell you guys I thought we might steal that one but we in fact did not win the big game ugh!

Magic came out on fire from 3 and the Celts had to climb out of a first quarter hole, but we played a pretty good game for the most part imo, led again by a big game from JB. It was a hard-fought 2nd half and there were some missed opportunities in the last few minutes that could have changed the outcome, but it went Orlando's way in this one.

Despite the loss and the 2 plays that ignited it, the Minott turnover and Queta missed layup, I feel real good about the Promise shown by our young players in Minott, who keeps expanding his game, Queta, who once again was the top Net starter and only positive in that regard, Walsh, who is showing that energy and defense, which is what I had hoped for when drafted and Hugo who did what Walsh has done.

If winning really matters than getting a better Big than Garza for backup might be the first thing to do for Brad.

Tonight versus Orlando was the first time this year where I felt we looked like a team that had lost 4 of their top 7 players
Not having Tatum, Jrue, Al, KP, Luke etc -- it just felt like a team at FULL Power vs a team at HALF Power

But it was still an extremely enjoyable game!

Celtics worked hard and played with the right spirit, giving excellent effort but just had some really bad costly mistakes from young players at the end. It’s a retool year so you have to expect some of that.

Celtics center rotation at the moment is Queta and then pray. Needs to get better.

Love Walsh getting real minutes. Between he, Minott, Hugo and Queta there’ll be a good amount of learning mistakes, but that’s what this year is for. Get some polish on the guys that bust it on D and find / develop the ones ready to contribute next year.

Team sucks when they face a decent team. Even if they had Tatum they still lack that big 3rd scorer. Just 9 minutes for Gonzalez. Just send him to the G league if you won’t give him burn.

I don't like the forced 3s White is jacking up, especially in a close game.

When White has trouble creating a shot for himself, he resorts to jacking up long 3s.

But was 6/10 on 2PTA and only 1/6 on 3pTA

The 10 assists is big but another 17% from 3

I thought tonight was better than he'd been lately though, made some big steals/deflections

People complaining about white , need to stop, he’s a complementary piece . That being said he’s surplus to where this team is and they should move off him for a younger asset

Yep, that was my plan as well. Develop and if you win, you win. If you lose, oh well, better pick. Not specifically try to lose, but play the heck out of young guys, I think Joe has been doing pretty well with it so far, but he could lean more into it even.

I can't understand why they play Walsh, who can't dribble or shoot, over Gonzalez, who has more "upside" and is arguably better at this moment.

I still feel they should cut Walsh once his 200k guarantee is reached. It would be better to have an NBA Top 90 player for his position, any position, than Walsh.
