Hugo, Walsh and LUKA GARZA in the 2nd half!

Then Jaylen, Derrick and Jordan with the late dagger 3's!

The bench was great but Garza, who I've been fairly low on, really worked his ass off in the second half. That was a fun one.

Garza VC because he kept the Magic at bay with his putbacks and rebounding.

Suck it Suggs!

Couldn't decide, so, I went team and Simons. His heater in the first half kept us from being in a huge hole.

Walsh tied for the team lead in assists, steals, 3pt% and defensive rebounds.

He was second in +/-, behind Gonzalez.

Great win! Best win of the season so far. Celtics got excellent contributions from everyone. Bench was fantastic!!!

Excellent team win!!

I got Garza VC (much needed contributions) and Simons CP (game would have been over if not for his 2nd quarter) and Jordan Walsh as honorable mention (played great D and hit the dagger)

Simons is very explosive but not a good fit.

Garza shot 7-8. He tipped in his only miss, for 1 of his 4 total offensive rebounds.

He and Simons had the top 2 offensive stat lines, and tied for 3rd in +/-.

Simons was Huge in the first half and White hit a BIG shot. But make no mistake the bench's energy was by far the biggest Impact tonight. Walsh-Garza and Hugo brought it. Their +/- should prove that as well.

Luke Garza in 17 minutes and Anfernee Simons in 23 minutes won this game. My vote goes to Luke.

Pts. + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed Field Goals - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)

+21.5 Luke Garza 17 minutes
+19 Anfernee Simons 23 minutes

+14 Jaylen Brown 34 minutes (27 points on 24 shots is not good, he needs to take fewer shots)
+14 Derrick White 36 minutes
+13.5 Jordan Walsh 25 minutes

+6.5 Neemias Queta 26 minutes
+5.5 Hugo Gonzalez 13 minutes

+1.5 Josh Minott 16 minutes
+1.5 Sam Hauser 17 minutes
+1 Payton Pritchard 33 minutes

Walsh did his THANG!! He was doing some of everything low key. He had played good minutes in all 3 of these games and Joe keeps rewarding him. Thanks Walshy and Joe!!

Best night for Garza, we lose without his contribution! He was on his “STHU SHAK!!” Wonderful!!

We also fall into the pits of despair without that FLAMES OF THE ANFERNO in the first half. Literally would not have been in this game without that huge burst! He did what needed to be done!! (I already told you, people who go off in the first half don’t usually do it in the 2nd. Defense changes for you and you are likely tired.)

Wasn’t a fan of JB’s night, he did some things okay but had a very selfish night imo. Just didn’t look like he cared to have help, he wanted to win it himself, causing us to fall behind.

White had A couplewonderful moments, we needed every bit of it!! MORE PLEASE!! Huge 3!!! Usually a big 4th Q assassin!

I thought Hugo was underrated and very key too. Deflections, steals, defense, and a BIG 3!! He’s very active. (Needs more rebounds and don’t be so afraid on offense)

WINNER WINNER MAGE FOR DINNER!!!

I went with Simons. He had something to do with Garza going off by initiating getting him involved in the first place. It's still pretty frustrating watching these ball-handlers not utilize the on-ball screens to good effect. Simons did his best job of it tonight, and had a ripple effect.

Nice win.

VC goes to Garza and White. Brown and Simons were close.

Great game by Garza. The game because, he hardly did anything in 13 minutes. He came back in this game and 16 points on 7-8 from the field and 8 rebounds, along with 3 assists. 4 of those 8 rebounds, we on the offensive end. He battles and got a few really good and 1s.

White started hot and made big plays in the end. 21 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

Simons caught fire in the 1st half and took over the game. I think he scored about 20 points in 8 minutes at one point, on his way to 23 1st half points. I didn't go with him for the VC because he just had 2 points in the entire 2nd half.

Brown played well.

Walsh and Hugo were huge. Their defense and energy made things tough for Orlando. Clutch 3 for Walsh in the closing minutes of the game. This is his 3rd straight well played game.

Queta was solid.

Hauser is acting like these last 2 games were playoff games, where he was a no show.

Good coaching job by Joe.

Garza in one of the 4 guys I'm really watching close this season and rooting for. I want to see Queta, Minott, Garza and Hugo make big strides. Walsh has finally gotten his opportunity the last 3 games and has done a really good job. He is back on the radar. Baylor might get his chance at some point too.

It's been only 3 games for Walsh, but I'm happy for him. A lot of people counted him out. He is still only 21.

As far as Garza goes, I believe in him. He plays hard and plays with confidence. He has skills and has room to improve. When you're the player of the year in college ball, that's no fluke. Tonight was Garza's 2nd big game of the young season.

Pritchard and especially Hauser are starting to concern me. Pritch, along with White, is clearly one of the two best ball handlers on the team. Except if his shot isn't falling, it's questionable if he warrants court time, although in theory he spaces the floor. Hauser offers little if he's not hitting, although again, in theory he is a floor spacer. But Hauser doesn't offer Pritch's ball handling stability. Gonzalez or Scheierman could cut into his minutes, although that would drop his trade value, which he is plummeting all by himself.
