I understand that losses happen even for good teams but there's really no excuse for losing to the same scrubs twice in one year. Take care of business.

Well from what I remember Utahs double big lineup wreaked havoc on this team. Expect more of the same because Clingan almost looked like prime Shaq the other night

Utah is coming off back to back wins over San Antonio and Detroit. They also beat Houston. Calling them scrubs seems a bit inaccurate.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Fine but my point still stands. Have some pride and remember that already lost a game to this team. Come out focused and playing extremely hard. Take care of business.

Keep going . . .

I'm wondering in what year that award began. Would have thought Bird's number would be much higher, especially after 3 MVP seasons.

It started when Bird started his NBA career, 1979-80.

1979-80, according to Wikipedia.
Julius Erving was the first.

Yeah, interesting, and to me, surprising.

I know, huh?
I would have thought that Bird would have gotten more.

Edit:
But also, they didn't start giving one to each Conference, until 2001-02.
That's why Bird didn't have more.

I think that Bird is the only Forward to be a 3-in-row MVP?
