I found it interesting that both Draftexpress and NBAdraft.net had us picking him a few days ago. We could definitely use another C prospect to groom behind Perk.

He'll be gone when we draft. Big men's stock rise as we get closer to June. Expect him to go around 20.

eh, I wouldn't get too exited.

He is playing in the Australian NBL which isn't exactly overflowing with quality big men.

He is pretty quick for his size, but the word 'raw' doesn't come close.

He gets by on being bigger then everyone in the NBL, I don't think he would be able to do that in the NBA. He would be the same type of project as Perkins.

Don't know anything about him, he looks like a big dude.

BUT, it's way too early to be looking at mock drafts considering we currently have the 30th pick. It's a crapshoot after the top 15.

Ha! Pepper has actually figured out how to play finally. If you could put his current BBIQ in the body that the C's drafted, you could have an NBA player.

Too bad he figured the game out 5 years too late.

for a center though, i think Omer Asik is a better prospect. but again, its way too early

What's with all the talk about trades and draft prospects?? Just because we lost to a lottery-bound team doesn't mean we're lottery-bound. And I'm not trying to knock the Bobcats. I thought going into the season they'd be fighting for one of those last playoff spots, and they still could. Their record just doesn't reflect it at the moment. But why even bother looking ahead when the present looks so good??

^ Because it's interesting and something to talk about. If you don't like it then don't read the thread and make a post.

Don't know about anybody comming from an Australian league but you can bet Ainge has already scouted him. We should end up with a decent player who can contribute right away, Brandon Rush is still being slated pretty late. He is so well rounded he could be a good bench player.

There is this guy called Bogut that you may have heard of ;) Longley was the best Aussie center until Bogut turned up, Anstey was a bit of a bust.

There is a guy called Newley playing in Greece who the rockets drafted in the second round who may or may not make the League. The only other Aussie in the NBL worth watching at this stage is Joe Ingles, he is about 6-9 and plays SF pretty well. He just needs to bulk up.

Otherwise, it is the Patrick Mills show.

Edit: I'd love to get Anderson from the Euro League, he is a big that would really help us, but I believe the Hawks own his rights and he is getting paid $$ in Europe.
