I don't want to discuss because that would never happen in a million years. It would be a waste of my time to discuss that scenerio.

You do realize we're off to the best start in team history right?

I do realize, I just miss discussing trades, that's like crack for me. I still read the board but it's more fun to watch a great team than talk about it

there are reasons this deal COULD happen but i won't go into them

Ray Allen is more fitting for this team than AK47. He spreads the floor and can also handle the ball at times. AK47 brings defense to a team already leading the league in D (or at least least I checked... too lazy to look it up right now).

Just for the fun of it...

BOS trades:
Ray Allen

UTH trades:
AK-47, Ronnie Brewer

This is a push IMO. Ray is vital to our team, but we do get younger with those two and Brewer is a future star.

BOS trades:
Brian Scalabrine
Tony Allen

HOU trades:
Mike James

This hurts both teams. TA is going to come around and the sixth man of the year eventually. Mike James is overrated, and just not that good. Plus no one wants Scal.

BOS trades:
Pollard, Pruitt, Powe

SEA trades:
Rob Swift

Giving up too much of what little big man depth we have to get just one back. Plus Pruitt's my binky so we automatically cannot trade him.

I'll play.

First deal: I'll say no for same reasons as Gogo just mentioned. Agree fully.

Second deal: No. Not that desperate to unload Scal. James is an underrated clutch player and probably better than Eddie House, but I don't want him at the expense of Tony Allen. Still think Allen is a better back up point by a hair, plus he's developing as a player. James is a final product.

Third deal: Nyet. I don't know jack about Swift, barely seen him play. Have heard great things, but haven't seen it. Yet. I've seen more of Pruitt and Powe and I'd like these guys around for insurance.

Ray Allen can't handle the ball, period. When his jumper is not falling, he is as useless as Scalabrinie (or whatever his name is).

talent wise it's better but it kills the depth even more.

Okay pal that was before the game. So GFY, I'm one of the ones telling everyone to stop bitching like I do after every loss.

We would be nuts not to do the utah trade , but there is no way both of those guys would be available. Heck I would do it for one or the other. AK helps on the ball handling front because teams can't afford to put a small guy on him to pressure. Both clearly have at least 4 years left, Ray-who knows how long-but the list of nagging type injuries he has had has not been encouraging. Also we would probably become the greatest defensive team to ever play basket ball. I seriously think teams would struggle to score 60 points on us on most nights.
