Boston should consider the problems of these 2 positions.

Penny or Payton would be a perfect fit. Penny proved he still can pass & handle the ball in Heat. Both of them could 10~12 mins, this for Boston is enough.

Webber may be a good fit as well. He could play pick & roll with Ray or PP,he could pass with KG,House...

The most important reason is they all have experience!!

just sign it!

They mentioned on air tonight that the C's have "zero" interest in Webber...

I think they should sign (high energy) Chris Andersen in two weeks though.

I wonder how many times that 1.) Payton 2.) Webber and 3.) Backup PG/C spots have been brought up on this board since August.....

What about Beno Udrih? Is there any chance we can get him. i wonder what's his trade value as he is only signed for this year. Would Pruitt do the trick?
Payton and Penny? The one Penny that was cut from the Heat who have 0 PGs?

To be honest, I've had passing thoughts about Penny as a darkhorse. But, the point that Badwolf brings up (being cut by a currently terrible team) really biased me against the concept. I understand the urgency of the need only requires a one year (now 1/2 year) solution, but I still can't make a decent case for doing it with that fact preciding. If Ainge does sign him, I'd have an open mind, but I'm not advocating it otherwise.

Celtics have to do something about these glaring weaknesses. Everyone in the world seems to know about them.

Does anyone think that Jay Williams might be a help? Former Duke great Jay Williams? I personally don't think we really need much help. Every team gos through slumps, but I don't like Eddie House at point guard, and it doesn't look like they are gonna try Gabe there, so maybe Williams still has some skillz.
