The Celtics either have someone with center size or a smaller outside shooter next to Garnett. Perkins can't shoot and Posey can't defend or rebound against big centers.
The answer to that problem could be Kevin Pittsnogle, center size and an outside shot.
Kevin Pittsnogle also hits his free throws.
Kevin Pittsnogle would only be a minimum cost signing, the Celtics can afford that to get a bit of outside shooting from the center position.
It must be time for Kevin Pittsnogle

actually, i belive he just got cut from the toros, the spurs dleague team. was having an horrible year, then got cut due to injury. the guy is obviously out of shape, and put up pathetic numbers considering the complete lack of talented bigs in the dleague. guy is not an nba player, at least not right now.

Yeah, I'd be interested in looking at some d-league players. Everyone knows about the success of Moon in Toronto. The Warriors picked up Azubuike from the D-league, and now they have CJ Watson on a 10-day contract who is playing pretty well in limited time. If the warriors don't sign Watson to a long term deal, we might want to look at adding him. I think there are definitely some good players in the d-league, we just need to do some scouting. Personally I think that our own d-leaguer, Pruitt, could do a pretty nice job at backup pg if Doc would give him an opportunity. The only reason for keeping Powe active seems to be courtesy for him being a 2nd year guy.
For a big I think we should be going after C-Webb pretty heavily. He really did help the Pistons last year, and his issues in Philly had more to do with losing. He's a pretty mature guy now, and I don't think any problems would arise with the cast we have.
